Because there is no such thing as a ''budget table''. Use your common sense. If you want to pretend Northampton and Cheltenham have similar budgets, be my guest.

No manager ever really has a full squad to pick from. What’s his next excuse?

So now I can't understand why Clowes didn't give the job to Rosenior. He's willing to let us be abysmal under Warne under the belief he'll give us stability, and eventually promote us. A man who I don't think gives a monkey's for this club - he said he didn't care for our history.
Rosenior who stuck with us through awful times, who had us playing some great football and some dull (not awful, just dull) stuff too. Why didn't Mr Clowes appreciate what he'd already committed to the Club and give him a chance?

Clowes was quoted at saying we had a competitive budget. I daresay he wasn't implying we would be competitive for 8th place but towards the top 3-4.
I don't expect a team full of world beaters. We should be beating clubs with much lower budgets than us, and if we aren't it's the manager's fault. He signed them.
If we get in the playoffs, the only way it can be considered a success for Warne is if we come in 3rd or 4th and then win them. Limping in 6th and going out in the playoffs would be unequivocally a failure.

Give me a break. We're not little hard up Derby County. We probably have 3-4 times the budget of the lower half of the league. If you're insinuating Warne signed crap players, that's because he chose poorly.

Don't be condescending, especially when you are ignoring the point I was making.
Keeping a manager that is taking the club backwards isn't stability, it's embarking upon a managed decline.
If Warne was meeting the expectations set out by the club, and the expectations he set out for himself when he joined the club the calls for stability and patience would make sense. He is currently failing on both counts.

We're in League One for f*cks sake! We've just taken one point off of Cheltenham, Shrewsbury and Stevenage in recent weeks... do you think that's good enough?

Sticking with a manager that is demonstrating that he can't get the job done is potentially just as damaging as making overly frequent changes.
Stability with the right person in charge is what we want. Sticking with a bad manager for the sake of stability is not.

There's absolutely nothing wrong or inconsistent about being pro-stability whilst believing we need to sack a particular manager to move forward. They're not mutually exclusive concepts.

I'm not a firestarter, I try not to be a boo boy and I'm definitely not a fervent happy clapper. I'm just a regular supporter, always proud and cheering for my team and like the more fickle among us I get quiter when it's s*** and louder when it's great.
Well unfortunately I'm going quiet, very quiet. I've actually already stopped tracking our fixtures and results now. I literally can't be bothered. Warne has a small club mentality and an incapacity to work in a different way to what he knows. We are going and continue to go backwards, anyone who thinks playoffs are a possibility this season should seriously think about supporting the gumps with that level of delusion.
I don't mind us losing, it's always going to happen. I just want to be entertained and go into every match believing that we can win or at least play entertaining football. We are so far from that right now, it makes the early days of Nigel Clough's tenure look like Jim Smith's finest.
What angers me most is that CryptoBro's bessie Garry Cook has essentially gifted us a genuinely promising manager in Eustace by carrying on with the fantasy that Rooney is a football manager. Now we're going to squander that opportunity because something something stability.
Never mind eh. Someone wake me up when we start playing football worth watching 👍🏻

Personally, it's for us to actually carry out the plan we had in place before we raised expectations by appointing Warne.
Build the club sustainably with an eye on the future, employ a progressive manager with room for growth.
Build a team with a a good mix of youth and experience and implement an identity and a forward-thinking style of play which, through good coaching, helps to make the younger players better footballers whilst making proper use of the experience within the squad.
It was never supposed to be a quick fix. We were supposed to take the rough with the smooth, a bit of short term pain for a happier future. We chucked that in the bin, at least in the eyes of many fans, when Warne came in.
The problem is that I don't think we actually can go back to that now, at least not easily, because anyone who does eventually replace Warne will have the expectation placed on their shoulders to be 'better' than him, and quickly, especially by those who think Warne should carry on.
That said it appears that the powers that be still sort of hold that ambition and believe Warne can deliver all of the above, and will give him the time to do so even though the weight of evidence suggest that he won't be able to. Ultimately they'll either be proven right, or it'll be a costly mistake.

Warne is a poor technical coach. There is no future with him that leads to success.
But Clowes is seemingly making his stand.
He got rid of Rosenior which was a huge error, but one Clowes is reluctant to admit by doubling down and sticking with Warne.

Not bothering to go tomorrow as I feel that apathetic. Warne doesn't appear to know how to turn it around and in his post match interviews he's blaming everyone but himself. I'm not wasting another £60 on two tickets and a quick dash from the train station to the ground.

I don’t think it matters if they’re a rookie or experienced. What matters is we have a good philosophy throughout the club. A joined up way of playing throughout all of the age groups. A philosophy that allows the fans to see a plan and see something that resembles entertainment.
Nobody expects us to breeze through each game and walk the league but we want something to get behind and something that shows there’s a long term plan for the identity of the team.

A thread was created just a few days before Warne was appointed, asking a simple question: If not Rosenior, then who would you hire? There were very few people with genuine alternatives to Rosenior. Not a single person suggested Warne.

Even on the day of Warne's appointment, there were 85 people with enough foresight to know Warne wouldn't be good enough

Some good points were also made in this thread, just 1 month into this job.

What about Fornah? Unsure why, if we did have a soft underbelly yesterday, he didn’t give this lad some minutes? It was his one and only midfield signing.

To be fair, he's not talking about his signings.
He is talking about Bird, Hourihane, Sibley, Smith, Barkhuizen,  Mendez-Laing, Cashin, Fozzy.
They'll all be gone at the end of the season and then we'll see what a Warne team is really like.
I'm not looking forward to it.

Eternally grateful for what he did when he took us over, and saved us from Ashley. Wouldn't swap him for anyone else. That doesn't mean he should be exempt from any criticism if/when he makes a bad decision. He's not got a golden pass for life, nor would he expect one.

    Vickers
    Nyambe, Nelson, Bradley, Wilson
    Ward, White, Fornah, Springett
    Washington,  Waghorn

That is Warne’s team. His signings.
I think Nyambe and Nelson are excellent. Vickers we can’t really judge. Ward and Fornah, the jury is out. Waghorn is someone’s mate who makes the numbers up. But that is his team. Does anyone think that is better than an 11 that was already here? I don’t. I wouldn’t  want him spending any of my money.
