Bald Eagle's Barmy Army got a reaction from IslandExile in Academy Thread 21/22
Can you ask him how much money he has in the bank just to confirm whether @Footymum2017 is right in what she says.

Bald Eagle's Barmy Army got a reaction from Miggins in Operation Fill the Ground v Swansea
Me and my lad would normally go on our own. When we came back on Saturday, the missus and daughter instantly said they want to go to the next home game.
We will buy tickets for them two and my gift will go to my mum who struggles to pay for match tickets nowadays. She hasn’t been to a game for over 2 years so she’s really looking forward to it.

This is a wonderful opportunity for all those clamouring for Wembley tickets a couple of years ago to show that they are true fans are not just glory hunters who wanted to watch Mason Bennett running around a big pitch aimlessly. It is also cheaper than Wembley, nearer and beer in the local pubs doesn't cost £10 a pint. It's win win.

I had been thinking about this, the only thing I can think of is, if someone genuinely can't afford to go, but wants to, give me a PM in strict confidence and I will pair you with someone who is in a position to gift you a ticket.
How does that sound?
It's no guarantee, but it is someone off this community,

I would willingly buy 2adult or 1 adult plus 2 child tickets to gift to someone who can’t afford it. But how do I find that person as I don’t want to give it to someone just taking advantage?
the only family I have left in the area can afford to pay for themselves when circumstances allow them to go!

This is the most important thing we can do. Create some income to limit redundancies and player sales, make us attractive to purchasers and support the team.
If you haven't got a season ticket, buy a match ticket.
If you have a got a season ticket , encourage a mate to come or if you can afford it, gift a ticket to a mate.
Encourage friends and family to come.
If you can afford it and know someone who can't afford to go, gift them a ticket for this game.
If you live too far away and can afford it, gift a mate or family member from home,
If you are thinking of coming and have kids, bring them along.
Do whatever we can to fill the ground v Reading.
We've been let down but now it's our time, our time to stand up and save our club.

Bald Eagle's Barmy Army got a reaction from Amberram in Just show your support
The way the team were supported on Saturday just shows you what the club mean to the core supporters.
I can honestly say that walking into the stadium on Saturday I had a big lump in my throat with the news that came out the night before and on the final whIstle I’m not ashamed to say I could have shed a tear or two.
Let’s just hope that we can turn this around and in a few years time we can look back on this time as something that made us stronger as a team and supporter base.

Bald Eagle's Barmy Army reacted to simmoram1995 in Mel Morris interview on Radio Derby 1pm
So had time to reflect on his interview yesterday.
My opinion of the bloke has not changed in the slightest on a number of grounds
1st - he had to have pliers pulling out an apology from him that sounded forced , cold and meaningless
2nd- justification for overspending was other teams that got promotion mostly did it great way to be a sustainable club you bald pillock
3rd- basically admitted gambling on Derby’s future at the expense of a buyer potentially returning with another offer
4th - complete liar and bullshitter licking Rooneys ass as a coach but doesn’t have the spine or guts to tell him straight or inform him about the administration
5th- complaining about COVID multiple times and whining and not taking any responsibility unless pressured to by Dawes
that’s just 5 points and there’s many more

I’d rather have a manager that would have been better at getting us promotion.

Bald Eagle's Barmy Army reacted to DCFC1388 in 12 possible 21 not
If we get 21 points deducted, we need to be looking at an average of 1.5pts per game from now if we stand any chance of survival. Very difficult but not impossible, would equate to an 8th-10th place finish

Ok
if Gibson and the efl had done the policing of the situation and implemented the punishment in a timely manner would we be where we are today?
The fact is they protracted the whole process to suit hidden agendas.
