Jortat reacted to Kernow in Wayne Rooney
I don't think I'd be ready for Rooney leaving to be added on top of the already heartbreaking situation we find ourselves in.
The compensation money would probably fund us until the end of the season at least, but would the club be as appealing if he goes? Sponsors, potential owners, players... all cited Rooney as a pulling factor for us. If he goes, do players decide they'll leave after all? Does the amount buyers are willing to pay drop?
I've seen enough this season with Rooney to tell me I want him to be involved with Derby for a long, long time. He's my favourite manager since McClaren 9 years ago, and if he keeps us up he'd definitely eclipse that. Maybe he would still even if we don't stay up.
I thought that if the worst comes to worst, and we end up with a phoenix club, Wayne and his American friends might want to buy us. He wouldn't manage us, but at least he's involved.
To summarise, I really do not want him to go to Everton. Not sure if I made that clear.

Just shows that everybody playing their part, no matter how large or small can make a massive difference.

All of a sudden what is happening to the Rams has gained traction, possibly because of the administrators statement that what the EFL are demanding is against statutes. We now have sky, quest, radio Derby news, MPs on our side who previously were silent. The more we get the message out to true football fans the whole thing will gain more and more traction until the EFL are forced to explain or change their position. There is no downside to this as it is reported, only in the Sun, that Ashley is stepping in to try to sort it. Keep up pressure where ever you can please, it is starting to work. Remember what is sung is about both the teams and the fans WE ARE Derby AND WE NEVER GIVE UP.

Shinnie fee is 30k according to Nixon. How the hell does that help us see out the season

If they sell season tickets for next season as was suggested on radio Derby would that not help to bring in a 3 or 4 million to bank roll the team until a new owner is found?

Unstoppable goal at this level, with a punt to Andy Carroll who wins the knock down and Hoilett wallops it into the top corner. Derby have been well on top but not creating anything like enough, given the dangerous situations we nearly get ourselves into. But keep playing well and there's every chance we can get back into this.

We’re still in this, a wonder goal is the difference. Need a little more conviction in the final third (story of the last couple of years!) and/or a bit of luck. A couple of times Jozwiak and Byrne have lost their footing in good positions on the right, a couple of good crosses have been just behind the man etc. Get those fine margins right and we can come back to win

That was a beautiful finish by them, went for the winner and paid the price. At least we tried to win the game, draws in the grand scheme of things aren't going to get us out of this.

Lot of slagging off the players tonight on here, but I saw lots of effort but we so so lack quality. To think where we were 6 years ago. Morris not only left us with a financial mess, and a hefty points deduction, but probably worst of all the poorest squad quality I have seen at Derby since about 1982. Once again Bird looked quality. He will be gone come 1 January.

Lack of squad depth was always going to be a struggle playing Saturday / Wed / Saturday in the Championship.
Especially when some of those players are 30+.
Should have scored that header at the end, and both goals conceded are poor defensivly.
