Rotherham could play a game every day from now til the end of season, morning, noon and night if they want, and they still won't catch us. We are staying up.

Avidly following a Rotherham match, and feeling like a lottery winner when Birmingham City score. What a time to be alive!

We have absolutely no need to keep in touch with teams above us though, there are no prizes for finishing 19th rather than 21st!
The only thing that matters is keeping the team in 22nd as far away from us as possible.

It's a lovely spring day, I'm fitting new fencing in the garden.
Only Derby effing County could make me down tools to watch a game I normally wouldn't open the curtains for if it was played in my garden.

I think we'll be in a better position if we're not relegated, but if we are we'll deserve to be and will need to build from there.

If Rotherham win today it will make everything more tense and it will increase the pressure significantly, but it won’t change anything.
We won’t be relegated as a result of what happens today. We will be relegated if we don’t pick up a minimum of 6 points from our remaining fixtures which means we have to win 2 and maybe pick up another point to be certain. Whatever Rotherham do today will not change that.
If we limp to the finish we go down pure and simple unless Rotherham’s last 7 games is a complete clusterfuck which I just don’t see.
So yes Brum please please win today but it won’t change anything if Rotherham win. We have to get ourselves sorted in remaining fixtures or we’re doomed.

Everything will look a whole lot more rosy by the time we beat Preston on Tuesday.

Exactly. I don't understand why some felt it was better for Rotherham to be on 42 points with 2 games in hand

Mick was obviously years ahead of his time. Long before any Covid lockdowns it looks like Mick was already cutting his own hair.

Premier ram reacted to Ghost of Clough in What would McClaren do with this team?
I'm not sure Mac would be doing any better with the squad to be honest. We may be playing better football, but the squad is so small, especially with the injuries that the team wouldn't be much different.
We're forced into playing 4231:
GK
Byrne Wisdom Mengi LB
CM CM
RW AM LW
Kazim
Choice in goal is a toss of a coin - Roos vs Marshall
Likewise at LB - Buchanan vs Forsyth
CM is any two from Bird, Knight and Shinnie
The three behind Kazim is out of Lawrence, Jozwiak, Sibley and Roberts
Even Kazim and Lawrence don't appear to be 100% fit at the moment. For Mac-ball to work he needs the players to be fully fit, with top options off the bench. We just don't have that right now.

Premier ram reacted to Day in What would McClaren do with this team?
When we was near the top of the form table, this is the McClaren effect.
When we’re losing, what would McClaren do with this team.
Couldn’t have seen this coming from a mile off, not at all.

Mate it’s a fact we could go down .
Will it happen I have no idea.
Hopefully it won’t.
How concerned we should be I don’t know.
Do the players care enough we will soon find out.

Quick reminder that Rotherham have a game every three days for about 2 weeks now. Their next game is on Thursday night.
It’s not a deep squad, they’ll pick up injuries and get fatigued. Not saying they’re guaranteed to go down but they’re still in a really tough position. Next two games are it for them, Cov and Birmingham, two six pointers that we’re not involved in.
We’ve noticeably improved since the break but not found the net enough. Norwich and Reading both played well, I think our form will translate into points over the next few games and will see us to the 50 point mark. I don’t think the lads are playing like they’re busy looking over their shoulder either, Rooney has them focused and performances reflect that.

So Rotherham win tonight against a middle table team with nothing to play for and some fans on here start putting the nails in the coffin for the Rams. Others coming out with statements like "we need other teams to help us out" . At the end of the season every team will have played 46 games, positions will state how bad, mediorce or good your team was. I don't want any one quoting that Sheff Wed had a 6 pt deduction, because currently if they had their 6 points back they would still be in the bottom 3 on their current form that will probably be the case. Officially at this stage, no team is relegated, but few will argue that it looks very differcult for Wycombe & Sheff Wed. 3 teams go down and Rotherham, Coventry, Derby, Huddersfield and Birmingham are all still in the mix. If we get mores points than 3 teams or more, thats down to our performance over 46 matches and not us relying on other results.
Some facts for the ones worrying about Rotherham, They play Coventry on Thursday, if they avoid defeat it will be only the 2nd time this season they have gone 3 matches on the bounce without losing. Starting with Thursday they have 8 matches to play in 23 days. In them 8 games they have 2 teams fighting for survival, possible 3 if Blackburn continue their bad form. They also have Barnsley and Brentford in play off places to play. I still predict Wycombe, Sheff Wed and Rotherham to go down, if its going to be another team, please think of Coventry, Birmingham and Huddersfield are still involved and not just Derby.
