History doesn’t mean anything. A lot of clubs ‘should’ be doing better. For me Derby should be doing better only because we have been in and around the playoffs for several years. To fall so dramatically is unacceptable.

There were better players around them. The squad is quite weak now compared to even 2 seasons ago.

We can only really judge what Wazza has got out of the players but agree, it is a mediocre squad and there needs to be a complete overhaul of ownership, management team and players in the summer...

I feel uncomfortable with the feeding frenzy regarding Rooney at the moment. He's not been a success so far obviously so is not immune from criticism by any means but personally I think the players are, as usual, getting an easy ride. Jamie Ward after the match on Tuesday on radio Derby  said it how it is.... "none of those players left it all on the pitch". His focus was continually the players not the management. 

Ian Evatt would be my number one choice - 4 reasons;
On the verge of taking Bolton back into League One meaning in his first 3 seasons of football management, he will have got 2 teams promoted (other one was Barrow from the National League - he took over after they'd finished bottom 6 season previously) Plays entertaining attacking football - heavily influenced by Ian Holloway's Blackpool side in which he played when they got to the Prem in 2009. His Barrow team were known as 'Barrowcelona' such was the style they played with. Young, ambitious manager on the way up and Derby would be an exciting opportunity for him (rather than us having to convince a 'name' to drop down to our level) He is a Derby fan - came through the Academy here, went to Wembley in 2014 to watch us in the playoff final & in an interview with RamsTV 2 months ago, expressed a wish to return back here one day... https://www.dcfc.co.uk/news/2021/02/ramstv-meets-ian-evatt
 

I think we would get good attendances, 20k ish. Derby would be a good scalp for teams in that league as Sunderland have been, but Sunderland just seem like a league 1 team now (not a big club in a lower league) same as Derby would be with a few seasons down there. 

5 points in last ten. If we don’t win any of the next 3, we could end up having nothing to play for like Wednesday on the final weekend. Frightening stuff but possible.

Terrible statistic. Derby are in real trouble. 

We've had must win matches for a while now and only beaten Luton.  No confidence in this squad unfortunately. I will keep my Huddersfield Sheff W and Wycombe relegation prediction but if we go down so be it, we would deserve it over the season.

Didn't say they are not involved in the relegation conversation, I just don't think they will go down, I may be wrong. I think it will be between Derby, Coventry and Huddersfield. I sincerely hope Rotherham don't pick up another point but I think they can be hard to play against from watching our matches against all of those teams plus and I have a feeling they will go on a good run.
