Hoping for maybe a Welsh club away? Even amateurs would do.
I'm thinking how nice it would be to be watching us play Tywyn away!

Is it just me that thinks by the time a goalie plays for the first team at Derby or has played 15 years as a professional elsewhere before getting here, the only coaching required should be someone smashing a hundred shots at them in training. Similarly that should be the only coaching the striker smashing the shot should need.
I find this whole intense training requirement of professionals in there 30's a bit weird and a few hundred grand a year down the toilet.

Height, intelligence, pace, experience, bravery, leadership, commitment, quality and aggression. Other than that, not much.

Spot on. The gravy train has come to the last stop. Same for most clubs.
it’s gonna be a wake up call for some players probably having to take contracts well below expectation.
Hated watching some of these over paid prima-donnas these last few years. The days of the likes of Hindmarch, Buckley, Sage, Williams etc. when they we’re putting themselves on the line and literally fighting for the club (in the goalmouth v Stoke). It seemed to mean more.

Almost worth it to see the crushing disappointment of the shouty French singer and the camp Swiss guy at the death.....?

I don't know what's more disturbing: (a) The thought of @David and his friends dancing like that.
Or
(b) What you put in your search engine to find that image. ?

Match of the Day when they thought it's purpose was to show games of footy, rather than being a vehicle for Gary and his mates to bore the nation into bed.

'Cos a gazillionaire can pay off all debt, thus removing a huge cloud that's hovering overhead, they can also ensure that the club owns P.P. and the training ground. Then they can get the accounts in order and get them filed with the EFL, at the same time sweetly smiling and making concillatory noises thus lifting any embargo. They must surely also be able to spend some money on stuff that doesn't impact on FFP or whatever it's called this week.
All the above will make the manager's job a little more straight forward and make us more attractive to new players and sponsors.
Failing that, we can have a whip-round and a jumble sale, but I think plan 'A' is the better option.
