Personally always liked Athletico Madrid, Valencia and Crystal Palace. Think Derby’s badge is great too (I assume bias but it is a classy badge). Makes a great tattoo too. besides that I’d go with Sheffield wednesdays, for similar reasons. Most crests are too busy, and start looking more like a cost of arms. I don't necessarily dislike a coat of arms style badge, but I agree that our ram and Wednesday's owl look really good.
