    Nah.
They’ll want someone who can adopt a balance and unbiased approach. Is B4 there?

I first read this that you are just home from the Oxford game and I was thinking "Vow! 3,5 months runaway. That's impressive!" Unfortunately, I read it again now I feel like you've disappointed me.

That can’t be right? I distinctly recall multiple posters explaining a few weeks ago that we’re rubbish and the season is already over…. ? COYR! ?

Ooooh, I reckon I know this! Is it because we're not running around enough?

Well, of course we are.  We are a League 1 team that was put (thrown) together in about a fortnight from a mixture of free signings and kids.  Add injuries, a general lack of fitness (for some), suspensions and change of management, what exactly were you expecting?  We haven't even got to December yet - it was always going to take some time.  Neither Warne nor Rosenior are miracle workers.

Same way that some of our posters are predictable in their attacks, with poor control, usually making the wrong decision, and unable to try a different approach.

The league table tells us that doesn't it?
Not really a fan of xG its as useful as VAR.

Despite loving the possession football under Mac (1&2) I found roseniors (you know, that temporary stand in manager we had) football utterly tedious.
He somehow managed to make passing football look like a boring and goalless pastime when we know it doesn't have to be.
Thanks for your time Liam but I'm glad we moved on (well some of us have).

    It’s a simple poll.

You either like Roseniors tactics or Warnes.
Sorry if it annoys some but that’s the question
David isn’t happy by looks of it
I don’t think I’ve done many or any polls before .

I think that's what Warne wants isn't it?
Always got the feeling with Rosenior, and Cocu especially,  that it was retain possession at all costs and this stopped the players from taking risks with passing thru the lines, hence recycling yo GK even from throws and free kicks 10 yrds in opposition half.
Personally I find that mind numbing and frustrating as hell, we talk about Mac 1 as best times, iirc we swept forwards quickly with purpose, but you need the right players to do that, it will take time

Rosenior didn't really play out from the back. We played it across the back a few times, looked panicked then went long and often straight out of play, the worst of that being at Lincoln
I think now Rosenior has gone people are remembering his football more fondly than they should. It was ok for Oxford, Charlton and the first 45 v Barnsley, after that it started to decline and never recovered. The only exception to that that I can think of was West Brom at home in the cup, that was a good performance.
From what I can tell so far Warne wants us to try and get it into the wide CB then down the flanks quickly to the wing backs or up into the striker.
Ultimately, both weren't or haven't been good enough. Only Warne has chance to change that now
I will add, the officials have been nothing short of shocking and haven't helped either of them

Does anyone remember when Real Madrid once lost to a third tier side in the Copa del Rey?
Or when they lost to a Moldovan side in the Champions League?
Footballers and coaches are human. Off nights can happen. Upsets can happen.
This is only worrying if we follow up tonight with poor shows v Ipswich, Exeter and Bristol Rovers.
    Let’s see.

If you place a football of a circumference of between 68 cm (27 ins) and 70 cm (28 ins), and between 410 g (14 oz) and 450 g (16 oz) in weight (at the start of the match), and of a pressure equal to 0.6 – 1.1 atmosphere (600 – 1,100g/cm2) at sea level (8.5 lbs/sq in – 15.6 lbs/sq in) on a marked spot 11m (12yds) from the midpoint between the goalposts, where the distance between the posts is 7.32m and the distance from the lower edge of the crossbar to the ground is 2.44m, how many attempts would it take before the ball is successfully kicked directly into the goal?
