Why are several of you talking about the refs decisions? Both goals were STONE WALL fouls , not arguable in any way , we gave them the goals not the ref for once

I've just checked the history books, again, and this is the first time ever that the pre-season favourites struggled early on, started to scrape some results without playing particularly well, then began to look like a good team once they gained some confidence and momentum.
It's a funny old game football. The same things keep happening over and over, but everyone forgets it.

This seems a tad unfair. Both seemed to struggle playing in a back 3, but particularly Cashin; I think both have thrived in the more traditional back 4 setup where the centre half role is more easily defined. Don't think Bradley had much to do with it- if anything I actually blamed Nelson for unnecessarily playing the ball back to him under press and putting him in a pressured position to make the mistake in the first place against Wigan... game of opinions eh

I like how you've put a festive spin on this thread. Some people are having a myrrh in this thread though.  

I can understand wanting PW out based upon opinions, nothing wrong with that. It does get tiresome though imo when an argument is made based on mostly fabricated information and by the same posters over and over. It's almost as though the PW hate has been embedded and attempts to critique him plucked out the air.
 
We have had doesn't use academy or know players names, tells the players to put aimless crosses in the box, fallen out with players based on hearsay, failure will be not getting us promoted turned into he will fail once we got promoted, he says we are playing good in his interviews, what game is he watching but then when he says we weren't at our best, what does that do for team morale, the league is now the worst ever, his football is rubbish, get Warnock in (one of my favs) I could go on.
 

Will take that , yes we are frustrating at times and that’s not down to warne it’s down to the players who just at times pass very poorly , there’s a reason we don’t play through the middle much , it’s because we hit poor passes and players are drawn to the ball rather than moving intelligently to create space and options , it’s not all on warne demanding the ball wide every time , then we have little spells where we click and don’t force it and hey presto we look like a team , bloody shame that last minute penalty for Wycombe 😡,
the haters popped in again briefly tonight I see , I mean ffs some people really need to get a grip , Paul warne is a football manager , he’s doing an ok job at worst and on top of that it’s clear he is a decent kind of human being , the crap aimed at him from some on here is beyond the pale

We’re bloody lucky that the ref went back on his decision to blow for full-time after 45 minutes, I’ll give you that.

My fave fact about Nelson's column is that the statue on top is 18 feet tall. Nelson was 6ft tall. That makes it Horatio of 3 to 1.

This does nothing to disprove the theory that the EFL went after Morris out of spite.

So they have a manager who, despite having spent hundreds of millions, has them in a relegation battle and their fans are upset.
We have a manager who, despite not having spent a single penny, has us in the play offs and out fans want to get rid of him.
Is there something in the water in these parts?
