Not for the first time either. We were the first club to suggest shirt sponsorship, but the idea was thrown out by the FL. When they finally agreed to it we were on our way down from the old second division.

One of my favourite ever things was her crunching that Ferrari on a Girls Aloud track day!
39 is no age to die. She was a naturally beautiful and seemingly positive person for a long time. The ‘industry’ chewed her up a bit.
