Perhaps supporters should not do that then? We saved the Club with a show of unity and support. Clowes and his appointment Warne have been given about 15 months and tne pitchforks are out already. That minority of morons on Saturday abusing our Captain IMO do a lot of harm to morale and confidence.

We need support not the type of toxic atmosphere we saw from “some” fans on Saturday. Although I’m pleased to say there were more fans applauding at the end than the other so called fans. We are there because we support the team. We have no Devine  right to beat “smaller teams” just because we are a bigger club. How long ago we nearly didn’t have A club to support. I realise the disappointment but what good comes of slagging the players. If they ain’t good enough that’s life…..but they do not go out to lose and they certainly don’t want to be in this league next season either. Let’s not forget we still have our hands tied on transfers, players do not have to come to DCFC, and if they think the place is toxic why would you sign if other teams make a similar offer with fans who support their teams in adversity, like we did in our 21 point season.

Have never booed our team or staff - really dont understand what fans think it will achieve. Also if PW goes how would it help attract the next victim?

Lots of people predicting the atmosphere will turn toxic tonight, without acknowledging that the atmosphere is created by us, the fans.
We don't have to shout abuse or boo. And if a few fans do, we need to drown out their voices with ones of support.

Sure this won’t be popular but I think Warne should have until Xmas to have us in the top six. I would call myself pro-stability rather than pro-Warne and I understand why so many of the fans have turned - we haven’t improved as quickly as any of us would want and we’re currently not good enough going forward.
But I’d say he deserves longer to fix that than it looks like he’s going to get.
My concern is that the fanbase seems to think that a change of manager could get us into the top two and speed up our promotion, I think that’s wrong - the top two is gone already imo and having another new manager coming in isn’t going to speed up our timeline.
How many times this past decade have we sacked a manager because we thought it would get us promotion quicker? Look where we are now. I think that the fanbases expectations have been damaged by that and we’re now turning on managers quicker than we should.
If people are being real with themselves, how many of you are Warne out because you’re panicking that we’ll be in League One again next season? It’s short-termism. As much as Ipswich spent a few seasons more than they’d like in League One, they get promoted the right way and are reaping the benefits now.
Sacking another manager early into the season isn’t doing things the right way. Said this before but the day after the Villa playoff final, we had a squad made up of seven managers different signings. Whereas in 13/14, McClaren inherited a unified, hungry dressing room all signed by one manager.
Chopping and changing is what got us into this mess, we’ve just let a manager shape our squad and now we’re going to get rid of him before the halfway point of the season?
I see a lot of people talking about the top two - I thought that was unlikely after the first five games, it was an overhauled squad which was still adding players who were going to be in the starting XI (Fornah, John-Jules, Nyambe). It didn’t look cohesive and I didn’t think we’d have a good enough start to put together an automatics push. So far, that looks like an accurate assessment.
Part of why I’ve had patience with Warne is that I think we were closer to starting from scratch than it looked on paper. I agree that the 5 at the back fiasco isn’t a good look but I don’t think the transition from this season to last season is as straightforward as some people make it out. That is partly Warne’s fault as he tried to change our system but I didn’t see many people on here this summer disagreeing with him switching to the back five/signing Sonny Bradley - it you were one of the five or so posters on here doing that, don’t quote this letting me know; I don’t give a toss
However, I think there is now a legitimate argument as to whether he sees out the season as I don’t think we’ve improved as quickly as anyone would like after that slow start. I would have said he has until the end of the season a month back so I’ve now sped that up to an assessment at Xmas
I’m personally disappointed with how quickly the fans have turned on Warne. Warne certainly deserves until Xmas to try to turn this around but the fans may drive him out; I don’t think that’s the sign of a healthy club, that decision should lie with Clowes and he shouldn’t be pressured into creating more turbulence at an already very turbulent club to satisfy the mob.
I will always be anti-booing the team/manager, our role at games should be as supporters and I think booing/chanting at Warne is more akin to acting like a customer.
And when people’s complaint is the football isn’t entertaining enough, you are definitely a customer rather than a supporter.
I don’t buy into this idea that we need to see entertaining football but what we do need is effective football.
My concern with Warne is I don’t think he knows how to get this team scoring 2+ goals per game regularly - as far as I’m concerned, the football can be as ugly as a sunburnt Susan Boyle as long as we’re scoring goals and winning games.

1st half, a very good header from Nelson and 2 shots from Barks, all of which were met with good saves. Enough detail for you? There's more but I'm not going to go into every single one, every single game.
With regard to your last sentence, that's what I just don't get. How they can praise JW yet it's our players' fault when the oppo keeper does similar. They can't have it both ways....

Warne will come good. Wait and see.
The scenes in May next year will be glorious. Warne leads us to promotion and Waghorn and the lads are on the Wembley turf in front of the Sky cameras belting out ‘Paul Warne, your football is s***’.
I’m looking forward to it more than my honeymoon in Antigua.

Definitely too early to sack him. If Clowes sacks him, I’ll be shocked. So much time to turn it around and improve. So many other factors other than the manager which affect results.
So many cautionary tales of managers sacked and things not improving. So many where clubs retain a manager and they go on to be successful (many in significantly deeper mires than we are currently in under Warne).
I think we’re about to see a run of results

You had me fooled. I know Leeds take more fans to away games than any other team on the planet so I assumed they’d now infiltrated the Derby ranks 😀. That would explain the disgusting behaviour by some of our number.

Attention seeking, repetitive, I've been watching Derby for 50 years and the current fans are just drunk/drugged up and don't know anything, no guarantee the next manager will be any better, we need to be grateful just to have a club, we can't spend a fee on players, we've been unlucky with injuries, can't judge us so early in the season, bet you'd have wanted Clough/smith/Alf Ramsay sacked too, are you willing to pay him off yourself.
I've probably missed some. All solid arguments as to why we should just keep on being awful then 🙄

Been supporting since 1968. Seen the lot from ecstasy to despair. This could be my last season ticket. Not because of Warne or Clowes or our current style of play but because of our toxic and frankly moronic minority of supporters who try to hound managers and players out of the club. ( I mean constantly hiring and firing managers has worked so well for us over the last 10 years)..if social media existed in 1995 Jim Smith would have been getting crucified. We were about 6 from bottom at this stage of his promotion season.

It will carry on just the same as it has for the last 40 years, regardless of division or results.
We've had many ups and downs during that period and I assume we will continue to have in the future.
I've just started taking my kids and I'm actually quite happy they are starting out watching us in the third tier (as I did) as in my opinion it makes you enjoy the highs, which will inevitably come in time, even more.
Its sad to see how quickly fans have turned on Warne and it appears are starting to turn on Clowes. I certainly wouldn't want them lot in the trenches with me.

Properly get pelters for this as 80% seem to have made their mind up over Warne, but anyone else just had enough with the constant negativity towards the players and staff? It’s relentless.
Even after last nights win I’m seeing people try and twist it negatively, overall last night we played faster tempo had chances and won end off, so why the negativity?
Warnes come out and said last night about blocking outside noise out, really think knocking them will help? It’ll only make it worse, 5 in 11 for Collins decent return, what’s booing him and giving him stick going to do? Why can’t we get behind them? We’re in league 1 we won’t have world beaters that will do everything so perfectly.

1 defeat in 10 due to some terrible refereeing it’s not anywhere near as bad as people are making out, it’s as if we’ve won 1 in 10.
I can be as negative as anyone and as annoyed as anyone when we drop points etc but it’s the bigger picture move on we go again, It’s not an easy league like people expect, Sunderland sheff united Ipswich Bolton etc all got stuck for time, and probably only Bolton started in a worse rebuild situation as us…
it’s absolutely draining all the constant ‘get him gone’ ‘whose next’ ‘he’s just a P.E teacher’ I’ve missed 1 away game and 1 home and it’s honestly making me not want to go, Blackpool people singing ‘warne your football is sh*t’ then 5 minutes later singing his name, honestly think if people stop over reacting and seemingly wanting Warne to fail we could get out of this league this year. Rant over roll on the draining stick that’ll come…
