Im sorry but the idea of paying a similar rent to Stoke or Leicester rather than to Morris, just to "teach him a lesson" makes no sense to me whatsoever. Our Gates would drop by half (at least) overnight. Madness.

Frankly I don t see how any club can guarantee anything for 10 years. Surely if anything we prove that point.

Both main Parties will want to associate themselves with Derby’s survival not their demise. They will cooperate on this matter.

The real stupidity of the efl insolvency policy is not allowing us to sell season tickets. We could raise £5m easily in a month as guarantee of leasing income whether from Morris or the Council. It’s madness that we cannot sell season tickets.

I hate the prospect of a ground share and don’t care enough about Mel to want to screw him over.

If anyone is wavering over whether or not to go and you can afford to, remember this is the last time for a while you will see your team in the top leagues.
Also, the squad has battled magnificently this season and deserves a send-off.

Oh, I'm 100% sure of that. After all, they couldn't say in public how hard they were going to try to make an example of DCFC, and in particular Mel Morris.
However, to say that they had no knowledge of Gibson's actual claims is just ludicrous in my opinion. To repeat it several times over several months is trying to escape personal blame in my opinion. Why couldn't they know what the claims were but still feel that they should be dealt with by their procedures, even if they knew that the claims were dubious at best?
DCFC/MM are far from faultless in what has happened recently to the club, but the EFL have in no way helped us because of their own spineless actions.

It is irrelevant what the other 71 clubs were doing. Accounts have to follow FRS, not what other companies are doing.
If a players value decreases on a linear basis, it should have been very easy for the EFL to prove this, they must have had thousands of examples.
The method that DCFC chose for amortisation eas probably much more realistic than straight line amortisation.
The only reason it was so bad for us was because our signings were awful and so many of them left for nothing at the end of their contracts.

Which is economically true. But if the regulator forms the view that it is unacceptable then it has to comminicate that to the club and invite them to change going forward.
Happens to me often in actuarial work because you are forming judgements and interpretations.
Coming back years after, putting the club on trial and then seeking punitive punishment for what are really quite minor differences of interpretation is absolutely not regulation.

I went to the City away game with my Dad. I asked if I should leave my scarf in the car to which I was told, dont be daft get it round your neck. walking to the ground some Doc Martin wearing City youths took great pleasure in saying "if you were 5 years older kid, we'd kick your head in".......glad I was young that day. We stood on the kippax near the front and I swear it felt like were the only Rams in the ground.
Poor performance that day, we thought we had lost our chance to win the league.

A lot of people including me would love the opportunity to buy our season tickets now to show support and solidarity with Wayne and Chris. We can’t do this sadly. But we could make our last two home games something to really catch the medias attention. Highest gates in the Championship. I would love this to happen as a thank you to all involved at the Club. Can we do it?

Having a wage bill of £12 m on relegation to league one is not a good place when you have gates the size of Wigan, so sure they needed to reduce the wage bill big time. Like I say they needed to find a buyer or else they would have folded, and Although both income and expenditure for Derby are bigger i don't see the difference and why we have been treated the way we have, with no signings allowed since going into admin, or even extending contracts.

As ever the problem is with these EFL rules there is no transparency , EFL just seem to make it up as they go along.
