No. I think it's utterly vacuous. I appreciate the anger about the working conditions in Qatar, but if you genuinely feel that strongly and want to make a statement, don't go. Don't broadcast it. Don't watch it. I won't be watching a second, but I have 0 respect for footballers and football associations thinking they're making any kind of relevant statement with their toned down shirts and rainbow armbands.

Spare a thought for those of us who live in rural Derbyshire and have no gas. We have oil central heating and it is costing nearly £1000 per tank. We usually have 3 deliveries a year. So that's £3000 already and we have the electricity bill on top. No cap on oil prices

I see the mad scramble to avoid having to participate in a war happening in Russia now just the same as I saw the mad scramble in Ukraine when this started , I despise war and war mongers no matter what side they are on and the only way I see wars becoming a think of the past is when the masses refuse to fight them for the greedy power hungry loons that through history keep appearing.

IMO the BBC should not be giving taxpayers money to “ foreign” sports. Leave that to Sky etc. There are plenty of under funded British based sports that need the cash and exposure. 

I hope we can all agree that the way to resolve disputes with your neighbours is through dialogue, using mediators where appropriate, and not shinning over their fence and sh*tting on their patio. Once you've done the latter, your justifications are meaningless.

While we waste our time falling out amongst ourselves, the real enemy controls both sides of the political divide to keep us at each others throats.

To have free speech first requires free thought. Is it even possible to have such a thing when as human beings we are so influenced by the people, culture, language, science, politics and religion that surrounds us?
Or do we all just parrot whatever we osmose from our individual existances to sound funny, intelligent or to just fit in with other members of the tribe?

Better than expected to be honest.
We all know what state the squad was in back at the start of July without repeating it, the recruits were better than I initially expected yet I still couldn’t buy into the idea we would walk League 1.
I thought we would be around 17th, 18th now and hopefully starting to look like a team as we near Christmas, best case scenario pushing for a play off place.
Being Derby County, having 2 league titles in the cabinet with an FA cup and 30,000 seater stadium doesn’t count for anything in this league, all my expectations have been based on the situation and the time it takes to build a team. You can sign 22 players in a matter of weeks, ask Cooper, yet building a team on and off the pitch takes time.
To be sat 7th, level on points with 6th, 7pts off top is incredible really in my opinion and if this is the start of the journey, I think we may not be down here for as long as I first feared.

Has it got to the point that we can only discuss our views  person to person and not via social media. I can walk into work tomorrow and have discussions with colleagues about royal nonces, merits of the monarchy etc, have someone tell me I'm talking out me arse and I can tell them the same, no harm done.
I'm more likely to get stick for us losing at Lincoln than my political views when talking to colleagues, mates etc. Social media is looking more and more like a way of controlling people. George Orwell's thought police.......
