He can do better than them. Will terrify defenders in Italy though. Saddened by this. We're investing developing players that then don't see a future with us. Total shambles.
The only positive from Morris's tenure now being stripped.
Let's be honest, Melvyn Morris has absolutely ruined this football club from top to bottom. It's so bad, it's conceivable he's been a florest fan all along.

Feeling rather overwhelmed today as I am sure we all are..
Yesterday wasn't about the last minute equaliser, as much as it should have been, it was about the City coming together.
A huge thank you to Ryan (chief organiser) and all the Marshalls that assisted on the day. A big thank you as well to Albatross Taxis who offered everyone 20% off for the march and also supplied me with a minibus for the day to get the flags from Pride Park to the march. Nice to see local businesses come together (they are owed money by the club as well) So many came together to make it a success.
We will never know the true number but when we arrived into town at 0945 I got a huge sense that this was going to be massive, just so many dotted about. As many have said Derby police saying just under 10k, that is nothing short of amazing. The view as I looked back over the railway bridge was something else and the drone that took the video, it was neverending.
Many highlights for me, the mayor lowering his hat to start the bounce and leading the march up the Morledge. Pauline Latham starting the bounce and all the local councillors and MP's marching, together.
When the march arrived at Pride Park the number of photographers was something else, not fans, proper photographers, it was flash flash flash..
I will never forget this for the rest of my life.
Be proud of our city and football club.

Dorsett is a d1ck. 10000 is about right. Superb atmosphere, and did you see the great old girl in the old people’s home banging on her window so excited to see the crowds and show her support.

Well. I'm speechless. He's turned down his boyhood club, who themselves are in a relegation battle and desperately need help.
In fact, I'm not speechless, I'm just struggling to find the right words to pour my love out for the bloke on the internet.
Incredible show of loyalty, absolutely incredible. This guy deserves 100% backing from EVERY Derby fan now, without exception.
What he has done this week is truly astonishing.
    A Premier League job interview.
    His boyhood club.
No thanks, I have a job to do here.
Wayne Rooney, you sir are a legend and I'm stone cold sober saying this.

Wayne Rooney, every time you think he cannot go up any higher in our estimations he goes and absolutely smashes it. I’ve said it so many times but there is genuinely no one else I’d rather have at the club. The man oozes class and commitment.

What a bloke. I bloody love him.

I was incredibly critical of appointing Rooney after last season. But he's been a pillar and a credit to the club throughout.
Get him a statue, even if we do go down.

I wasn't overly impressed with Gary Neville when he made his first steps into punditry but over the years he has grown on me, especially re. his opinions on the governance of football.
I may be slightly biased ? but I think this is one of his best rants yet.

Just to reflect, isn't it amazing what wonderful fans we have. From the EFL sitting with their smug arms folded they now, due to fan power and action, have been forced into a statement of defence and have had their despicable behaviour dragged through Parliament no less. Even the parasites have come out of the woodwork.
    Well done all.

Exactly, never really been keen on Andrew Bridgen for instance, but fair play he was one of the first at the weekend to publicly crank up some pressure. This is about “team Derby fan base supporters”, the EFL are feeling the heat because Thursday they scored a massive own goal with one of their it’ll judged press leaks.
They really are a bunch of amateurs at running the game, who thought they would slay Derby with their cosy club power plays, moving goal posts as they see fit, trying to crush a lame duck. Well guess what, Friday gave the administrators enough encouragement to publicly come out and pick holes in the EFL antics and finally too many, have got too vocal which is what drew in political interest.
We need both local and national politicians, even the media is turning in our favour. Those saying we’re beaten or it’s a lost cause, wake up, see what’s happening. The EFL are running scared and flapping, through this they will make mistakes and start to yield, now is the time for everyone to feed as much information to political bodies at all levels and expose this tin pot bunch of bullies for what they are.
We’re Derby County, founders of the football league and we won’t go away quietly.

My reply to Rick Parry today 17/01/2022.
    Mr Parry,
    Thank you for the reply.
I did not mention ‘killing’ Derby County so I am little confused why you would use such a term.
You have not answered if my points from my previous email.
Can you please answer how your proceedings are transparent bearing in mind one of your representatives is from Middlesbrough who have a dubious legal claim lodged against us. Surely while this ‘claim’ exists he should be removed from his position? This would be akin to having the family member of a victim of crime on a jury. It would look biased and unfair.
I find it highly suspicious that as soon as we got allegedly close to appointing a preferred bidder and potential new owner we have been slapped with another demand. Now as we all know a new owner with funds in early January would only boost our survival chances then all of a sudden we given a new demand with a deadline of the 1st February (just after the transfer window closes)
Yes, this is cynical but as I say I find it suspicious. I was never one for a witch hunt or vendetta previously. Mr Morris was an idiot and he broke the rules. So we deserved our punishment, which we have taken. However, it now seems that certain chairmen wants us relegated no matter what and so do the league. It is also interesting that this demand comes after media reports that other clubs are annoyed we have rejected bids. Bids I might add for our academy players. I do not believe in coincidences and this is all too coincidental.
