Awful awful officials. They have to get those decisions right. But we stood strong despite that and should have scored more anyway. But we are so solid. We have the second best defence in the division, having conceded one more than Bournemouth.
Brilliant from Allsop coming in who did everything asked of him.
Brilliant from Stearman ditto, especially having been booked really early on.
We are already on plus points despite a 12 point deduction. That was so important. We'd be 11th without the deduction.
    Come on you Rams!

You know how dreadful the ref has been when he gets booed off even when we won.
I normally am quite fair and believe that things even out but that was beyond inept.

From all Derby fans that we are sorry what was sung to you yesterday unfortunately some people drank to much and lost all scences but does not excuse it what so ever. And if that has upset your family it is same here or sheffield untied support please do not judge all Derby fans with same brush.

Love that they obviously cam here and "shut up shop" against us - just what we did at their place this season. Some things never change in the ebb and flow of football!

Got to take positives out of that. The recent news clearly hasn’t knocked the belief or fight out of the players so this certainly won’t.
That’s a run of “hard” games out of the way now. Three home games out of our next four coming up. Reading, Swansea & Luton, and Preston away. Keep that same attitude and we will pick up points.
Ignoring any further points deductions, we’re still 9 away from 21st, 37 games left.
    Let’s keep fighting ??

Odd that Gibson isn't sueing Villa, who came roaring past both us and Boro from the bottom half of the table after overspending massively in that particular season, and who also sold their stadium to their owners.
Someone might think it's not really justice he's interested in.

Wayne Rooney doesnt need Derby County. He is still here because he is willing to get stuck in on our (the fans) behalf.
Regardless of what happens on the pitch from here I've developed an immense amount of respect for him. Thank you, Wayne.

I wanted to start this thread to formally apologise to Wayne Rooney. I have been one of those who has criticised Rooney heavily and wanted him gone before all this mess came out, mainly during the horrible winless run last season. I now hold my hands up and admit I was wrong and badly so. Over the past few months, and particularly so during the last week, I am increadibly proud to have this man as manager of DCFC, even more so after today's press conference and that the dire state of the club is now revealed to us all. I now honestly think there is no better man to lead us through these dire times brought on by the IDIOT Mel.
Once again, my apologies to Wayne, and thank you for staying on during this mess. Thanks for your honesty towards the fans. Thanks for your commitment. You made me proud to be a DCFC fan today.

If you were a Rooney "out-er" and now wish to atone for your sins, let it all out!

I grew up in a house where you could hear the crowd when Derby scored a goal. From 1960 on I was going to games and in the 70s watched the miracles worked by Clough and Taylor. It became ingrained despite the roller-coaster experience it delivered. Pride Park was not like the Baseball Ground, but I was getting older and liked it. Despite not winning any league there have been great days and great players, not least Wembley 2007.
Not sure what I will do if the worst happens. I (finally) quit smoking after 30 years but no longer being able to watch Derby County after 60 years will be far more of a problem.

I remember going to Leicester in my teens. It was one of the first away games I'd gone to without an adult and with a mate. I stupidly had a Le Coq Sportif coat and Leicester had that as a kit manufacturer.
Typical Derby game and there was some trouble outside the ground. Me and my mate walked straight into the middle of it as a copper got shoved to the floor in front of us. Few items being thrown about.
Anyway this huge bloke Leicester fan grabbed me by my neck and dragged me behind him. He said "get behind me mate" and then started telling "come on then you sheep shagging Bamfords!!" to some Derby fans opposite. There was a bit more throwing and the usual nonsense before the police got a line going.
So we're walking off with all these Leicester fans and I whisper to my mate "we've got Derby shirts on under our coats!!" Meanwhile this Leicester fan is bawling about meeting up with the sheep here and there and catching up to them.
My mate comes up with the most stupid idea and we just create a bit of distance between ourselves and the big geezer with his mates. Then we open our coats and start yelling we are sheep shaggers you fat this and that!! Who the feck are you!!
We ran like Usain Bolt. The guy didn't even chase us but it weirdly felt like he was right on our heels. We ran and ran until we found Derby fans and then just couldn't stop laughing. We bumped into his Dad's mates and told them what happened and they were laughing and going on about the big fat useless xxxx.
We traveled back with them, had a can of beer each and felt 10ft tall. We talked about it at school all week. "Let's go away again!!"
Two little scrawny idiot kids playing at "lad banter". Cringey I guess.
But it was that feeling of belonging, the feeling of being in enemy territory, the feeling of grown men treating us not like kids and feeling like we had to show our Derby pride (at a safe distance) that you don't really get to experience in many walks of life. That real tribal pride.
It was like the first time I went to the BBG and was surrounding by adults stood loud and proud. It just felt great to pretend to be one of them.
It's just tribal. And I still love football in it's raw form both on the pitch and in the stands. Unfortunately now there's so much bs surrounding it.
But Derby will always be my tribe. UTR!!!

Love football (less so since PL/Sky money). Born Derby. Started supporting as an 8 year old, 1968, on the up under BC. Loved going to matches, even in the third tier.
Just the emotional rollercoaster and being part of something. Tribal I suppose; Derby County is my tribe.

Few have defended Mel as solidly as I, and I don't blame him for wanting out. Pulling the plug is inexcusable though, when he presided over the accumulation of the debt. The honourable thing would be to settle the debt, and leave the club with dignity, a thing he is probably capable of doing without going hungry.  To inflict this on the thousands of us who feel it so deeply is shameful, despicable and from a Derby fan, sickening.
I don't know how he sleeps. I'd sooner die than be responsible for this. I know that sounds a touch dramatic, but I stand by it. Death over this much dishonour.

There is one thing that to me is in excusable…NOT PAYING HMRC…..he’s supposed to be an astute businessman yet fails to pay the tax bill ….if he had cleared this and left then so be it…but to try and get a buyer to take on his debts to the HMRC is laughable …imagine any of us getting a job and the employer saying oh by the way the previous incumbent didn’t pay his taxes so you’ve got to pay them ….joke …no sympathy …taken us into admin and he’s not short of money ….good riddance and before anyone says he spent money he tried his best …we as fans trusted him as the club was under his control to run it properly …not run it into the ground!!!!! ?
