I’ve seen there are ten pages of discussion about the England game.
To be honest, I don’t care. We’ve just knocked Germany out of a major tournament. I’m 21, in my last summer of freedom, and I’m going to enjoy every single bloody minute.
    Greatest country in the world.
    Three lions babbbyyy.

Sterling, Maguire and Pickford getting all the plaudits for last night and quite rightly so , but i would like to give a big shout out for John Stones , who i think is quickly becoming a calm assured top class international centre half , his performances so far in this tournament have been faultless

Happy he scored, hope he goes on a run now *but* until he did it was a 4/10 performance.
Credit Southgate where its due, he kept him on and reaped the rewards, I would have taken him off.  Maybe thats why I'm sat at home watching and not in the dugout managing ?

Do you treat the world as it is, or as you expect it to be? Because those are two different things.
I'm a teacher working in a deprived area of inner city London. I'd love it if parents 'did their job' and sat down with their kids and read with them, but some won't and many can't. Do I just let those kids sit there struggling in my English lessons? Or do I do everything I can to help them catch up?
Exactly the same applies here. It would be great if parents could parent their children, but given there's so much obesity in adults anyway, it's hardly like our general population is educated on the subject in the first instance. We could let kids stuff their faces with a bargain bucket and shrug our shoulders and say that's their parents fault, but they're too young to make their own decisions and it's a ticking time bomb for the NHS, which affects us all in the long run.
This obviously won't fix the problem, but it's a start.

As a human race I think we're naturally very lazy. Convenience will always win. How easy it is to order takeaway food now, it's on an app so there's no need to drive to a fast food drive thru or phone a Chinese.
We need to learn to say no. It's easier to give a child what they want than teaching them tough lessons. Makes me laugh everytime I see parents buy loads of new toys for their kids, especially the younger ones. They couldn't care less if it was new or the charity shop. It is a complete waste of money.
Going off on a tangent, my grandparents told me whilst I'm saving for a house to stop spending money on non essentials. I looked at my bank statement I realised how much I was spending on non essential living. Streaming services, takeaway food, Sky TV, expensive phone contract. I understand saving for a house is a pain, if you're living on your own it's ridiculous. If you're serious about trying to save as much as you can, go back to basics. You'll be surprised how much you don't miss it.

Honestly, I am a great catch.
Made this home made chilli, spiced wedges (cheated with the dip) last night, with a glass of gin waiting for the missus as she got home.
Intelligent, attractive, thoughtful, great cook, I don’t know what more a woman could ask for tbh?
Oh and I love the rain! Love it ?

Good luck to him, would have loved to have had him back here for another season but sadly he was well out of our league.
Disappointed he missed out on the Euro's, but he'll have plenty of opportunities in the years to come - top player.

It's a complete myth to suggest cooking healthy food costs a lot of money it doesn't. My family often didn't have much money and sometimes were absolutely skint but my parents always ensured we had a healthy meal in us. The few times at university I have actually bothered to cook myself a decent healthy meal it's cost me about £1.50 a portion tops, I have a healthy appetite and don't skimp on the cheese for instance which a family struggling could do if they wanted to make it cheaper.  It's not even cost effective to give kids junk food either as it doesn't fill someone up for long (gets a quick hit of sugar, salt and fat then often you become hungry in a couple of hours) so then you have to either buy snacks that are expensive or buy more of the cheap frozen food anyway.

On the time and preparation that's another consideration. It does take less time and effort yes to put something in the microwave or the oven but it hardly takes 3 hours to prepare an easy quick cheap healthy meal either. A lot of it is down to education I think, someone mentioned sure start centres being defunded and without doubt that's a big problem. Not only this but schools and colleges should be doing more to teach kids life skills in PSE and food tech should be considered like PE just something you do until you're 16.

It's a radical idea but I wouldn't even be that averse to rationing certain products such as high sugar soft drinks, sweets and junk food quite honestly.

Portugal boss is moaning cos Belgium have an advantage of an extra couple of days rest. Isn’t that the sort of advantage you gain from coming first in your group. Portugal came third, they should think themselves lucky to even be in next round.

I'm no lawyer, but I'd have thought the use of the phrase "systematic cheating" is actionable. We've been through a disciplinary procedure that cleared us of any wrongdoing re. the sale of the stadium, and that censured us for using unusual but entirely legal amortisation procedures. Publically accusing the club of cheating is a very serious claim, and if I was the club's lawyer I'd be writing to this bloke pretty sharpish. The EFL have already dragged our name through the mud; we don't need every other gob***te joining in.
