I’ve watched the incident several times and I must say, I’d be very unhappy if that had been given against us and one of our defenders had been sent off. It’s difficult without slow motion but it looked to me as if the defender pulled his leg away and Barks just went down to “win” the foul. I thought at the time that Barks was going to get booked for diving and I haven’t seen a great deal to change my mind. At the very least, no foul should have been given and Barks should have been told to get up and get on with it rather than being booked IMO.
I think we got lucky but we’ve had plenty go against us. Not much consolation to Peterborough though.

Exactly that. The exhilaration of a late winner, or holding out against huge pressure for a valuable win, in the moment, feels pretty much the same to me whatever division we're in. Sure, it's good to see some of the best players in the world in the flesh and visit the best stadiums, and even better to win there, but I go to watch Derby play, not really the opposition, even if I can occasionally appreciate how another team plays or the talents of an exceptional player, that's no real compensation for being strumped 5-0 by West Ham at PP or being slaughtered by Liverpool 6-0 at Anfield by Liverpool. Losing sucks whatever league we play in.

Player misses a penalty by an inch or two, A poor penalty, My Nan missed the step by an inch or two and fell over, Poor walking, I missed putting my eggs in the cupboard by an inch or two and smashed them, Poor putting away, I was having a good time with a lady friend in bed, Put it in the wrong hole, Poor execution.
IF my Auntie had b ollox she'd have been my uncle? 

I actually thought he was going to book Barkhuizen.
Think the ref blew up without knowing what decision he was goint to make.

Apart from the delight of the last 10 mins I can’t say I enjoyed that. Heads dropped when the goals didn’t go in. Midfield surrendered. Hourihan and Bird were absent for so much of the game. Can’t win enough second balls, passing was off for big chunks of the second half. Peterborough are game and tough .. but crude and nothing special, they too had a share of the poor passing, bad control and fluffed shots. Can’t get that excited about Dobbin. Lively and hard working yes, but there’s something missing - hopefully game time and experience will help him find it. We miss NML. Collins looking rattled. Needs to play against Grimsby and get one. 
 
Cashin, apart from an early error, was excellent again, as was Knighty. Once again it was McGoldrick who was the catalyst aided and abetted byFozzy who turned up and played well like he always has. Sibley did well and was consistently aggressive and forward thinking. 
After they went down to 10 men our midfield looked somewhere between lazy and knackered
 
Still, we kept plugging away and won ugly .. I think that’s what you need to do to win leagues. COYR
Fantastic noise towards the end felt like the whole stadium was singing and chanting rather than just the South Stand. 

Nobody going to mention the difference that Korey smith made replacing max bird? His vision and ability to find a forward pass won us that game. He was brilliant for the 15minutes he was on the pitch. Should be looking to start him in that position. He makes things happen.

I was told he hates Owls and in fact Budgies are his favourite bird.

I'm not sure he's bothered or and/or has that much class about him tbh, if the way he acted when playing for Man City's U23s against us is anything to go by.

The few football related posts he'd put up before that were all about Man Utd (he lives there), occasionally wearing a 'red devils' replica shirt, nary a piece of broccoli in sight
In the past 8 months though almost all of his posts show him proudly displaying his support, fully part of the 'BOXT Brigade' (previously known as Fairweather Fans of Forest)
