Not a BS report, Rosenior said he’s bid for two players and there local reporter reckons bird is definitely one of them. And 2.5 million is 500k more than knight. I believe bird is a better player and also now worth more to us than knight was as we’re lighter in midfield.

I’d be gutted if I was North Stand row K, between the goal and the corner flag, and Collins moves on.

I hope not (c) I’d rather go in to the season short of a striker than lose Cash. He’s a bedrock foundation and needs to go up with Derby County. 

You won't get out of this division, or any division, without some kind of fee on players.  If you don't pay some fee, someone else will. Even the decent team we had under Burley had some nominal fees of 200-300 k for the likes of Peschisolido and Kenna to go with the frees.  Could be a barren season goal wise if our centre forward addition is a freebie, over 30, with a bad knee.

Not for me Waggy spent a lot of time on the sidelines through injury in his last season for us, personally I would much prefer Dobbin back due to his pace and potential to improve his final product

So having banked a bit of money last season from gates well in excess of the business plan, season ticket sales much higher than our one or two closest competitors and seval times higher than most, plus fees for Bielik and Knight, plus savings in wages on both its time to get our hand in our pockets and pay a fee or two. I want to see a couple of young Bobby Davison type speculative signings where we back the judgement of our scouting team. Please NOT any more over the hill players such as Sharpe or Rhodes where we look to squeeze the last few drops, or journeymen players like Collins and Washington. Lets have some IMAGINATION 

It wasn’t me about WB but if Thommo is going to become a fixture, it’s this year, starting . I believe he has it in him. He’s got a touch and precision that’s a cut above. Is that enough ? Time will tell
