Am I right in thinking we've got no strikers on the bench? Awful.
 
As per usual, we look so empty and lost in the middle of the park. No life, no fight, no physicality, we're a midfield of turn the ball over players. No real defensive ones, no certified ACM's, just all the same variety of player. 
We are however, growing into the game, but I really think we need a striker and a proper CDM before the window shuts

Warne does not have involvement in them making simple passes.. countless times the pass wasn't strong enough or aimlessly passing straight to the opposition, no composure or controll, you can criticise the formation and style of play, but last night and Saturday was a whole lot of basic errors that you see U10's making. I don't know if there's 1 or 2 that are looking for moves or are unsettled, but this isn't the same team as it was 2 weeks ago.

Late to comment on the game whilst I attempt to get over 3 things.
 
1) Our shocking first half display with Wilson being our only threat.
2) Ward marking their best header'er of the ball whist Bradley, the biggest man on the pitch, is marking absolutely nothing in front of Vickers. Ward should NEVER be anything more than a man on the post or first man defending a corner, NOT marking a big dominating cb.
3) The fact we didnt treat the game as a chance to reward the fans with a trip to Wembley. NML or JJ should of started as we lacked that bit of class in the final third for large parts of the game.
 
I could go on, but honestly, horrendous.

Ipswich are doing well in the Championship and they came 2nd last year. They haven't had billions of pounds spent on them, they just bought well with what they had and they've gelled immensely. 
My eldest Godson plays for their U18s, and I've got to say, they're a good club. Sometimes it's the people that make a club, not the money spent on the fancy banners. 
If we buy well in January without overspending and it gets us over the line, that's been the perfect season. If we add to what we have in the summer with a proper goal scorer, there's no reason why we can't have a go at the Championship.
