I only joined up on here after reading for many years and convinced myself that it was because I wanted to contribute a bit more and had a lot of time on my hands. Whilst that is true if I’m honest it’s been the stories, support and camaraderie in this thread in particular that urged me to join up.
Struggling a fair bit myself at the moment but some of what I have read has given me some strength - I won’t go into too much detail but knowing your feelings are not just yours and that depression is very much a real thing does actually help.

3 dogs, Dexter black labradoodle, Morgan brown labradoodle. Both 11 years young and Sasha 1 year old GSD. We never intended to get Sasha but we were broken into and Dexter and Morgan slept through the whole thing so we decided to get a guard type dog but she's anything but

I know I'm hiding posts that are innocent but you know why and I'd prefer we avoid that whole discussion. Hope you see what I mean.

Electricians who think they are tradesman, they just chase out walls and bang a bit of wire down a wall,  connect a wall socket (nine times out of ten out of level) they are totally incapable of patching the chase anorl,  wheres the skill in that,  and as for plumbers..

Can't speak for other companies but negative feedback is most welcome where I work. Believe me it is not ignored and almost always acted on. We use a system called Net Promoter and everything is analysed. 

People who slag other professions off when they couldn't do the job and have no idea how difficult it is.
 

This grinds my gears as well. Spend £4 on something that's going to get looked at for a few seconds, gather dust on a shelf for a week and then get binned/recycled. Massive waste of money.

My wife just knocked the one on te left out of my hand and into the sink, breaking the handle into 5 pieces ?. She says that I can “glue it together again” ? and that when I go over in December I can “buy another one. It’s only a mug.”
She’s right of course, it is only a mug. A 21 year old mug in excellent condition even though I used it most days. Please give my regards to the ex Mrs @richinspain when you see her ?
