    yes.
under rosenior it actually felt like he/we was improving and building towards something. we had a style of play, knew what we were doing, decent to watch, and generally felt we were moving in the right direction. Rosenior was also able to recruit good footballers due to his reputation and was widely respected in the game. Was very well spoken, and seemed quite clever tactically. Not only that but he deserved longer in charge after everything him and wayne did for the club the previous 12 months.

We’ll be reet. Should beat the Cod Army next and that will give the players some much needed confidence.

Even without EFL restrictions I can only see the club operating within it's means. Considering the horrendous financial position that Mr Morris left the club in, it's totally understandable that the current owner isn't going to allow the club to spend more than it earns. Supporters will have to get used to that, and Warne presumably has bought into it.

Started off so well.  Then he turns into Travis Bickle as the rage takes over on the realisation his big day outs been ruined .😂
Watched on video feed from Italy. Burton the better footballing side for most of the game but Derby just had that edge in terms of counter attack and making chances from half-chances. A good League One team who may well trouble the play-offs this season. Burton are a bit short of guile and specific action - do well but don’t creat much and when chances come it is hit and miss. They look more of a team collectively but don’t have a spark. Money buys that I suppose and Derby have money now they have written off their debts leaving small businesses in their local area struggling to pay wages of the staff who probably still support this abhorrent, idle-rich, arrogant toss rag of a club. I hope they get promoted so they can have their noses rubbed into the dirt by richer cheats.

Awesome performance second half. Was involved in everything positive and should have got the goal his performance deserved. If he has bids in for him it didn't show and showed some quality link up play nml. Keep it going max lad 🐑

I have zero expectations for the next few years. I feel better about the current state of affairs  now that I acknowledge that.
I’m a rams fan for the long haul, through thick and through thin.
Let the well paid professionals at the club get on with it . There’s zilch I can do about it.
I’ll celebrate the goals,  the wins and the good performances. I’ll not get down about the defeats, the poor performances or the ins and out of any players. I’ll enjoy the banter.
Life is too short to worry about things I can’t change or where I can’t make a difference.

Warne will still be here for at least the next 3 years. His objectives provided by DC at the start of his 4 and a half year contract remain. It isn’t mandated that promotion must be attained in his second season (if it happens, then great); it’s about long term rebuilding of the club from what amounted to a large pile of ash.

£300k for NML. He’s a full Quatemalian International. I suspect some Saudi Team would pay £30m for him if we could put a good 5 minute video highlight package together. Actually make that a 3 minute package - he would just be walking in the last 2 minutes.

That's the common sense approach, of course, but reading between the lines (based on Warne's comments) we have an agreed budget with the EFL which was signed off before any sales. He stressed we couldn't reinvest that money but it would go towards the running costs and pointed to agreeing this budget with the EFL being made prior to any sales.
My interpretation of it is that we've agreed £10m and regardless of what we bring into the club in terms of transfer fees, additional revenue, etc, it means we can't go above and beyond that £10m fee without further sanctions. It's a bit daft, of course, but tends to stand up with our transfer approach and the corner we have so very annoyingly painted ourselves into now.

I'm going to vent at Derby Evening Telegraph because they are one of the primary sources of this toxic problem.
Print Journalism is dead. It has been slowly dying for past 20 years. The Internet and online sources are picking papers off one by one. I wanted to look at print journalism when I left school, however the penny dropped when I realised why would someone in the future pick up a local paper when I can gain the same information online. It's a dying business and they know it. This is why DET have to flood their online content with a million adverts making it near impossible to read the "article" inorder to generate a form of revenue. And this god awful clickbait rubbish which are pretty much lies about a non story. Twisting words from various people to make a sensational headline for people to click on, only to find it is absolutely nothing of value.
I wanted local papers to do well, to provide a good local service to readers who may not have access to online information. I supported DET for a long time. However my patience has finished. They are a disgrace. Desperate to be relevant and coming up with complete utter BS at the expense of the football club.
Radio Derby provide excellent coverage, honest information yet the BBC want to cut their funding and radio shows. They've mainly done more good for the football club over these dark times than any other media outlet. As much as they love to moan at the referees, at least they don't stir an invisible pot of negativity towards the manager and the club. I feel sorry for our local radio station. The local paper on the other hand can get lost.

The most shrewd approach is to absolutely nail your recruitment strategy, from the academy right the way up. It takes money and investment, but if you have a system that you’re absolutely sure is bulletproof then you won’t go far wrong. The second part is coaching, again, right the way through.
What we’re doing now is fine while we’re under restrictions and in League One, but if the long-term plan is short-term contracts and recycling through free agents every year then I struggle to get behind the vision. I understand the strategy is viable, because you’re actively monitoring your budget, not really tying yourself down in bad financial contracts, i.e. Anya, etc. I get with promotion you’re able to go for a higher class of player and bigger wages with the larger revenue. It’s a safer approach. It’s not to say it can’t work, either, but it’s not the way I envisage the club becoming successful long-term.

The players we are linked with and bought I could have done the recruitment for. This guy we bought in was meant to be a guy to unearth gems and scour the Irish league. We’ve gone back to derby from Morris under rowett where we are being linked with the old people’s home.

I even cheered when Stuart Pearce scored in a Derby shirt, for all the hate, respect was given where respect was due.
I do think Sharp would score at least 15 goals in this division.

Agree with the above, Mel has put us years behind, we are lucky to even have a club after what Mel did to this club, it's rumoured he is still has his millions in his bank, but totally f***** up our great club, it will take time to heal what Mel did to us financially, but I have hope and faith that we are slowly getting there, can we get promotion this season, definitely we can, a few more in, have a good run which will build confidence, hope our main players keep fit then we have a chance.
100 percent behind Mr Clowes, and the club. And so grateful to Mr Clowes saving us, i will get behind this great club, as long as I have breath in my body. Once A Ram Always A Ram.

Sharp had an interview with Look North and said he didn’t want to drop lower than the Championship. When you consider his comments and the abuse he received from some Derby fans after the terrible family tragedy he suffered, I would say there is little chance Billy will be signing for Derby.
