Adams goal disallowed for offside. Very close call, looked like the defenders foot kept him on from the replay.

Come on Birdy!!!! Who wouldn’t have played him?! 🤣
Cuts in from the right and unleashes a rocket with his left foot from 20 yards (estimated for the pedants 😉)

Ramarena reacted to Geriatram in My last match today
Sadly this will be my last match today. My first was in 1956 as a 13year old, My dad used to take me before that but he stopped going when we went down to the third division north. My mate and I would catch the 12 oclock bus from Melbourne and be the first in the ground. We stood in the Normanton end pigeon loft, I think it was 3 shilling. To this day I remember that team. We were champions in 1957 and I ran onto the pitch after the last match against Southport, Ray Straw scored 37 goals that season, The next ten years saw me start work, get married and have two children, I had moved to Derby, and after my family, the Rams were the most important thing in my life I never missed a home game in those ten years even though we were only an average second division side. And then in 1966 after England won the world cup my mate and I decided to have a season ticket, Little did we know what would happen that season, I was at work one day and a Rams supporting work mate told me we had signed a player from Bradford Park Avenue, his name was Kevin Hector I'd never heard of him but he was without doubt the most wonderful footballer to grace the Baseball Ground I had ever seen, and because of this we wanted to see more players like him which led to Tim Ward getting the sack and BC becoming Manager, what followed was ten years of unbelievable success and enjoyment. And then things started to go wrong off and on the pitch and I stopped being a season ticket holder during Peter Taylors time as manager, i still loved The Rams of course and when I turned 65 and retired my old mate from Melbourne and I bought season tickets again. But sadly covid left my best friend of 80 years with a dementia problem and he know no longer knows me. For the last two seasons I have been going alone to the match but its just not the same for me. Therefore I am calling it a day, as I write this I am welling up as I will do this afternoon. Thank you Derby County for every thing I will love you till I die.

Is this some weird kink where you make love to a bread roll? 🍞 🍆

Ramarena reacted to Day in Paul Warne
Not sure why this ever needs to be said.
How many football clubs have been promoted and not made a single signing?
We have players out of contract, Bird and other on loan players that will return to their clubs, what this exact team could do in the Championship is not worth even thinking about as it isn't going to happen.

Ramarena reacted to Topram in Rate the 23/24 signings
Summer window:
Curtis Nelson. 10/10
Callum Elder. 5/10
Joe Ward. 6/10
Sonny Bradley. 6/10
Josh Vickers. 6/10
Kane Wilson. 7.5/10
Martyn Waghorn. 6/10
Conor Washington. 5.5/10
Tyrese Fornah. 4/10
Elliot Embleton. NA
Ryan Nyambe. 8/10
Tyreece John-Jules 5/10
Winter:
Ebou Adams. 10/10
Dwight Gayle. 8/10
Corey Blackett-Taylor 6/10
Max Bird*. 7/10
Obviously Adams and Nelson have been the stand outs, If Gayle stayed fit we’d of been up now and quite comfortable, could of even been looking at winning it in my personal opinion, few on there have been ok just killed by injuries including Wash and Elder, Bradley has shown why he was brought in he’s clearly a leader and loves a fight (little too much) overall they’ve all played a part baring Embleton, Fornah hasn’t done much but did get the assist for the win vs Bristol rovers, not a bad couple windows under restrictions, do think if CBT can get a goal we’d start seeing the best out of him

Ramarena got a reaction from Crewton in The Ukraine War
The senate passes Ukrainian aid with a dupe majority.
Hopefully the defenders get what they need quickly. Air defence needs to be a huge priority to save Ukrainian civilian lives!

Ramarena reacted to Tamworthram in Wildsmith
Can't it be a testament to all three of them? A testament to the whole defence, in fact the whole team including Wildsmith.

Ramarena reacted to Anag Ram in Wildsmith
He strikes me as being a volatile character, capable of astonishing lapses in concentration but also brilliant saves.
His unpredictability is probably the thing which has held him back.
Some of his kicking today was unfathomable but his one-handed save was instinctive and impressive.

Ramarena reacted to DCFC1388 in Wildsmith
His form has been abit up & down at times this season but as it stands he has the joint hightest number of clean sheets in the league, he is joint with Jensen for Lincoln but Wildsmith has played 5 less games.
So a clean sheet vs Carlisle (or Jensen conceding for Lincoln) will mean Wildsmith gets the golden glove this season which is a very good achievement for him & us.

Ramarena reacted to DarkFruitsRam7 in David Clowes
Couldn’t find a standalone Clowes thread, so started this one. As someone who was very much in the Warne Out camp and thought Clowes was making a mistake for keeping him on, I have to hold my hands up and say he was bang on to hold his nerve and not be swayed by an increasing amount of hostility.
I still have my thoughts on how the club should be run differently, but we can save those for another day. I may have missed it, but this man needs a proper song ASAP.

Decent first half, terrible second half…………but right now, who cares?
Those sweet, sweet three points are ours.
We are now on the verge.
COYR!

Well done Rams, looks like the top-of-the L1 table will be an inverted version of the D2 one from 86/87. I'm sure most of us on either side would have gladly taken that at the start of the season. Enjoy your evenings!
