Plenty of other baited tweets and statements out there that have irked me more, not really arsed about this one.
Good servant whilst he was here and made us a lot of money at the time. I don't think I've ever heard anyone say "Corr we could really do with Jeff Hendrick back at the club" since the day he left which tells you all you need to know about his ability, despite the level he's been playing at.

Whats the craic here?
Just got in from work so unsure if we are batting poorly or is the pitch/bowling doing a bit?

I think you can support the lads until the end but also take a dose of realism if you want. The two aren't mutually exclusive. I have no issue with those that think we'll win our last 7 games either.
It's done one for me. Can't see the away form changing and a couple of tough gigs at home too. If we'd just grabbed a couple of points over our last 7 away losses I'd probably still believe but it's just not happening.

2-1 down and we are giving these a footballing lesson..

A relief. Hope to see some takeover movement now.
I’ll never forget what these two bell whackers have put us all through this season though.

I reckon I'd have 22 sacks if I was on the field for 59 mins a game, unfair advantage when your D is never on the sideline.
Parsons/Donald would have been a better rounded shout. ?

Did the EFL put us in an embargo to protect the football club or finish it off?
The ability to not offer contracts to young players to protect their value has not only put us in a perilous squad position next year if we somehow have a club... but SURELY the logic would have been to allow us to extend our assets contracts so we could make a bit more money to, ya know, keep the club from going under?
Farcical but it's where we're at. Hope Rooney blows his lid, our position and the vultures and parasites that are feeding off us currently need all the attention they can get for the wrong reasons.

Can’t see us picking any points on Satdee. ?
Indeed. A nice long rest. ??

88 mins with 10 men was just way too much to ask of this squad. Fought well but another game down with no ground made. Onto Satdee, we need some bloody points.

Haven’t got an out ball.

Sean Payton leaving the Saints now confirmed.
Wonder if the Jones boys will have a word....

Whilst it was a disappointing afternoon there's some positives to take from that I think.
First half hour you couldn't tell which team was in admin and had been under transfer embargoes for most of the last four windows. Most of the youngsters had bright moments, for Thompson's physical mismatch vs every player on the pitch I thought he covered really well for Buchanan and stopped them getting behind a few times. Knight, Bird and Festy didn't have their best games but showed they are able to mix it at this level. I've never been Lawrence's biggest fan but thought his overall performance was pretty good, sitter miss aside. We'll let him off after last weeks two bangers.
We're asking a lot for that team to compete week in week out so whilst it's disappointing to end our unbeaten run I think we can appreciate how good they've been recently, just one game too far. Hopefully we can keep the squad together, get Bielik back in a few weeks and keep picking up points.
Don't feel as distraught as I normally do when we lose these games, would have hurt more to lose to Cardiff or Reading today. We go again next week.

I think that should be Morrison done for the year tbf.

Can't remember the last time we turned up vs Forest tbh. Shocker of a day.
Cardiff losing helps, hopefully Huddersfield can get something at Reading.

Max Bird's had a nightmare start to this half. Needs to settle down because he sets the tempo.

and from his point of view likely agree a settlement I guess.
This bit is annoying me the most though. Why should we settle? It's almost blackmail because they have us over a barrel, holding a big key to us moving out of administration. Whilst I'm not quite at the point I'd rather see us liquidated than pay up, it's morally farcical. We shouldn't have to settle on something the club "highly dispute" just because we haven't got a pot to piss in.
I think if you ask everyone bar Boro, Wycombe and a few Forest fans you'll see a massive agreement that those claims are laughable. The whole saga has been handled pathetically by the EFL and it's still rumbling on. We need an independent entity to take the carpet from under their feet because we're getting zero help from a spineless regulator in the EFL.
Gibson's words say one thing but it's his actions that have his foot on our throat. He's still clearly got a vested interest in whats going on behind the scenes here, those questions are very specific for someone just looking out for his own club. He can try and play down the bad guy role as much as he wants but if he pulled the plug on those claims, along with Coughig, we have a path to move forward with the takeover process, until he does that or the claims are dismissed, we're just counting down our expiry clock.
Welcome, btw.

A fitting end to an embarrassing series with the bat.
Enjoyed Mark Wood's bowling though, glad he got some stats out of it because he's bowled better than his numbers have shown in previous tests.

Some people have 20+, not sure how they even start to manage them.
6 losses in 7 leagues this weekend for me, although I survived the chop in the guillotine league so I'm happy.
