Tomori - 22 games for Chelsea last season. A key player as he played 22 games for AC Milan in the second half of this season, finishing 2nd.
White - Full season in the Championship followed by a full season in the PL finishing 16th

Would White be a regular in the AC Milan side? The answer to that tells you exactly who should be in the squad.

Stones and Maguire are undoubtedly first choice. So you need a backup right sided player, and backup left sided player.
Considering White is the right sided option, it was between Mings and Tomori

Do we know he wouldn't make the Milan side given the opportunity? I think its easy to write him off by just comparing the two final club positions. There's a reason United, Arsenal and Dortmund are linked with him - he's had a great year. Two great years tbh.

Tomori has had a great 6 months. He could have done without dipping last year and finding himself out the side.

Either way, neither will be going to the Euro's this summer. They will be setting their sights on Qatar and the next campaign for sure though.

I'd agree with you if Jesse Lingard wasn't chosen over James Maddison

This one has a few more circumstances I feel.

Southgate going public, saying he doesn't want any off-field distractions, pretty much finished any hopes of Maddison making it. He's been an idiot and despite Jesse not being a favourite of mine, he's scored 9 PL goals in a third of a season. Thats a crazy amount for a midfielder at that level. He's bang in form and full of confidence at least.

  3. Its not that surprising really, despite my bias towards Fik. The only argument you can pitch him vs is the inclusion of Ben White who will probably miss out anyway with; Maguire, Stones, Coady and Mings (Walker cover) probably going to get the nod.

Tomori has had a great couple of months but probably doesn't better the past two seasons White has had - starting every game for Leeds' promotion campaign and, probably more important, being a solid feature of Brightons back 3 this year in the Premier League.

I hope Tomori gets a move and continues to succeed though, if he does he'll be in the frame.

Just coming to post this, I don't give a poo if we draft a punter in round one now ?

I had a feeling this was coming.

    Doesn't sound great does it.

    32. Buccaneers - RB Travis Etienne

Happy if Pitts doesn't end up in the NFC East. Not too happy with Fields and Waddle joining us though. I don't know if people are actually sleeping on Fields that much or whether its just a smokescreen.

  6. A CB at 10 for us, or trade back if Pat Surtain is gone I'd imagine.

I've got a really unsettling feeling that Pitts will drop to us and we'll take him, ensuring another high scoring /high conceding season and a record of 6-11.

If we could just improve our defence to average, from diabolical, we're in with a serious chance to take the ever improving NFC East.

  7. We've dodged a bullet here too, Gladney was the third CB on our draft board after CJ Henderson and AJ Terrell according to Stephen Jones. Thankfully CD Lamb fell to us and we opted against taking Gladney!

What a waste. Vikings fans won't be too down about the 2020 draft though.

  8. Got the job done, that'll do.

Got to see more from England going forward vs tougher opposition though. I thought Mount played like he did for the majority of his time with us too - a couple of flashes of quality but just not quite at it, need more from him and Foden in the bigger games to come.

Joz's cameo was pretty good, should come back with a bit of confidence after a very good international break.

  9. I don't really get the hype me. He's obviously not a terrible player but I'm not on the hype train. The dancing thing is annoying. The video's of him being chased around various NFL stadia from Defensive linemen make it worth while though.

  10. Kinda feel bad for AD, he's getting some stick with those other clowns when he definitely doesn't deserve it. Unlike the other 3, he's actually been a franchise QB (With a whole host of franchise records (good ones!) for the Bengals too). Play offs, winning seasons, numerous full seasons played... he's in a completely different league.

Bears fans might be outraged because the talk has been Watson and Wilson but he's solid enough if they just need to get through this season.

No bad words spoken about the Red Rifle on here please. ?

  11. Sibley digging Wayne out of a hole, after he was forced to give him more than a 10 min cameo, is a masterstroke by Rooney now? Unless it was always the plan to give Watson his full debut and pull him at HT to help his confidence too.

We've been crying out for him for weeks, there's not many in this squad who have the ability to score that goal from Sibley's starting position tonight. Hopefully he's picked up some confidence from it and can kick on to a nice bit of form.

I'll give Wayne credit when its due; that second half turn around for one and the whole teams response. But not this poo show. You don't get a pat on the back for playing poor, out of form players over the clubs biggest prospect for weeks on end.

Sibley is only 19 and it unfair on him for some fans to make out he’s the only answer to Derby’s problems.

I don't think anybody is saying that Curtains. I think what the majority take issue with is the fact Rooney's called out Louie for 10 min cameo's deemed not good enough yet is reluctant to do the same for Waghorn, Joz, Knight, Buchanen, CKR etc when they have put in consistently poor 90 minute performances.

I think it's unfair personally but as also mentioned a few times, maybe it's what will get Sibley reacting in a good way. Let's wait and see.

  13. Completely disagree with Wazza there but what do I know.

Another big fat red flag IMO, unless this is all part of a bigger plan to get the best out of Sibbers. Judging by his little playing time I wouldn’t like to bet on it.

Having witnessed some performances from “seasoned pro’s” in recent games I can’t actually believe he’s called him out in public though.
