  1. Enjoyed that.

I didn't mind the team but as its been a bit thrown together I didn't expect a thing from tonight. Shout outs for Baldock, Joz and Sib. CB's were solid. Some actual intent on show made it a much better watch, more of the same please. Early days for Hull but didn't look too good after their electric start.

  2. My interest is growing if anything. Not sure if that’s weird.

Let the expectation die completely and get some proper clarity/light at the end of the tunnel off the field and the fans will be back. We’ve been poo for the majority of the last two decades. As long as we don’t go bust, what’s one more year?

Whilst I’d rather not, for the sake of the football club, going down would only increase my interest personally.

  3. If the light holds out I think they'll do us here. They've been on top ever since the Pant dismissal which should have been the match turning moment for us, not them. Can't see anyone in enough form who'll withstand the Indian attack after tea, which will be gagging to get stuck into our middle order.

Obviously a really disappointing day from an England fans point of view but what a turn around from the Indians.

  4. 39 years old and coming into this with a niggle.. Unbelievable player.

Love watching him but the more we see the older he gets and it makes me sad to think we’re one year closer to International summer tests without Jimmy Anderson.

    Long Term

    4. Watson

    5. Murray

    6. Herbert

    7. Dak

    Each to their own, init.

$40 mil for Dak is about right looking at your rankings then, as Lamar, Herbz and Murray will want just as much (if not more like Allen).

  6. In all seriousness, in a one off situation not looking at the long term;

    1. Mahomes

    2. Rodgers

    3. Brady

    4. Dak

    Long term;

    1. Mahomes

    2. Lemar

    3. Allen

    4. Dak

The rest are all on a similar level IMO. I'm not that arsed about Lemar/Kylers running but appreciate it can take a team to the next level as we saw with Lemar's MVP year. I'll be honest though, I've had to convince myself to put Lemar and Allen above Dak.

  7. Would rather put time and effort into lads like Stretton than sign no mark Championship strikers with below average scoring records who will equally frustrate at times. Not a perfect performance but applied himself well and got into good positions, don't really understand the criticism.

Good nights entertainment after a bad start, really good to see some performances from the younger lads. They need some help from better quality players in the long run, no doubt about that, but it'll be great to see them clock up some minutes this year if possible.

Did he have him over a barrel? Why not let him walk (no pun intended), trade up everything they could to get Fields, something to build a future on.

Sure Jones would have caught some flack given the injury, but Dak isn’t going to the Super Bowl, no telling he’ll even get back to his “best” following the injury.

No guarantees with any rookie QB is there, might as well gamble on the ankle injury and build around the one who's proved they're among the best in the league and is the face of the franchise/leader of the team.

If we had a competent enough HC and DEF we'd be in with a shout to get Dak a ring. Unfortunately that's not the case.

Where does Baker fit in this top earners conversation? I’ll tell you where, nowhere.

Saying that, not entirely sure how Dak got in there.

Of course Baker does. Is he going to break the Mahomes or even the Dak bracket? No. Could he be the fifth highest paid QB in the league? Easily. That's a top earner. Just like Goff and Wentz did when they were the highest paid, he'll slip down the list when others get their extension.

You're not sure how a guy who had all the leverage Dak had ($38 mil tag this year alone), at the worlds most valuable sports team got a good deal? Come on Dave. That's even without looking at his career so far (OROTY stepping in for Romo, Top 5 QBR for 3 out 4 of his full seasons and in general a pretty good player on a horrible team). He had Jerry Jones over a barrel. That deal will be insignificant in a year or two.

  10. This sort of stuff is obviously not exclusive to Derby County, it’ll be rife through the sporting world. But why isn’t it Luton Towns chairman or Huddersfield’s owner getting dragged in all this bad light? Derby County is a poo magnet at the moment. Not a good look for the club, again.

Amateur hour to be getting caught red handed like this. If we were going to collaborate with cowboys then we could have at least picked some competent ones.

  11. Is what it is.

No point beating ourselves up too much whether you're behind the owner and manager or not. Just need to back the team now.

Getting Phil Brown season vibes so get up for the fight and hopefully we can bring in some saviours to the club in January, Darren Moore and El Hamdaoui style.
