Ghost of Clough got a reaction from Crewton in Academy Prospects
The one you haven't mentioned from the U23s is LThompson who is a very talented playmaker and has a fantastic delivery from set pieces (with either foot), but needs time to adapt physically. He should look at someone like Ryan Woods who is also on the short side, but know how to handle himself.
Also Wilson, but he'll need plenty of time to recover from his injury.

Ghost of Clough got a reaction from Bald Eagle's Barmy Army in Academy Prospects
Kellyman has made 3 apps for the U18s so far (whilst being in the U16s).
Gordon appeared for the U18s twice when he was still in the U15s. Then scored 3 in 5 for the U18s last season before playing for the U23s early December and then for the first team at the end of December

Ghost of Clough got a reaction from DCFC1388 in Derby finally accept 21 point deduction.
I imagine the club and EFL know.
It appears the Covid year isn't accounted for, so no punishments or adjustments made for the relevant years.
Adjusting my figures slightly to suit would give something like this:
14/15 = -£5.60m
15/16 = -£22.12m
16/17 = -£19.04m
17/18 = -£2.12m
18/19 = -£35.60m
19/20 = -£35.00m
20/21 = -£16.68m

And now apparently is another product of the Liverpool Academy if you believe the press..

Ghost of Clough got a reaction from Ellafella in Middlesbrough lodge £45m compensation claim
When is it Preston's turn to make a claim? We finished 6th in 17/18, Preston 7th . If we had been deducted points in that season for failing the 3 years to 2017 they would have been in the playoffs.
That's now £45m to Boro, £45m to Preston and £6m to Wycombe.

I believe if we had gone to IDC we would have got a much better outcome - not least, taking into account not having the time to take action after the first failure to reduce losses before failing further periods.
The 4 points comment by Mel is an odd one now we see the actual figures. I swear he said that was in relation to the 3 years to 2018... a period we were within the limits ?

Finally a bit of time to look at the figures.
3 years to 2017
My prediction: £8.63m overspend
Actual = £7.76m overspend
This would 'reset' 15/16 and 16/17 figures.
3 years to 2018
Using adjusted figures for 15/16 and 16/17;
My prediction: £12.43m underspend
Actual = £10.88m underspend
No further adjustments required as we were within limits.
3 years to 2019
Using adjusted figures for 16/17;
My prediction: £3.78m overspend
Actual = £11.72m overspend
This would 'reset' the ginormous £37m P&S loss in 18/19!!! (my estimate)
3 years to 2020
Using adjusted figures for 18/19;
My prediction: £2.35m underspend
Actual = Unknown - not referenced so will be within the limit.
4 years to 2021
Using adjusted figures for 18/19;
My prediction: £6.00m underspend
Actual = £1.96m overspend
19/20 will definitely be 'reset', 20/21 will be borderline - worst case is this being reset too.
What this actually means
1. For 21/22, we only need to avoid P&S losses exceeding £13m.
2. I either overestimated how much the wage bill has come down (estimated currently at £20m) or how much we have actually paid for players (estimated at values similar to Transfermarkt)

Ghost of Clough reacted to brady1993 in Squad Rules
I think beyond them we should be tying up any of the very promising academy players on quite lengthy contracts to secure them for the future (i.e. the likes of Ebosele and Watson).
I'm convinced the only way we recover from this mess is on the back of academy players.

This is the single most important thing as it means we can retain the services of Bird, Knight, Buchanan, etc rather than having to wait until the summer before offering deals.

When The Rams Trust next meer with the EFL, the first thing they should be doing is asking for a full transcript of all discussions that took place with the administrators.
Basically, we've had two parties who do not have the clubs best interests in mind agree on a punishment for us.

Ghost of Clough got a reaction from Carnero in Derby finally accept 21 point deduction.
I was afraid they'd hit us for the 3 years to 2017. Didn't think they would as I thought we would have got charged with failing that period first rather than 2018... which incidentally we didn't fail based on those figures you've given.
2017 - £7.76m = 6 points
2018 - under limit
2019 - £11.72m = 12 points
2020 - No figures?
2021 - £1.96m = 3 points
Total = 21 points

Probably, I think I’ve lost the plot trying to keep up with all the rules! ?
Players under the age of 21 don’t count to any limit for any other club though, which has the same effect.

-
Ghost of Clough reacted to Ravabeerbelly in Squad Rules
It states that the squad size / incomings etc are as of the date of the agreement.
My understanding of that is if current players ie Cashin Hutchinson Watson Stretton etc accrue 3 appearances after that date then that is fine.
