To be fair every time i've seen Thompson play he's made some incredible saves, bit young for first choice though surely?

Blowing hundreds of millions and surviving with lowest tally ever because the teams that came up were terrible, not really amazing is it. But at least they are there I guess, few years ago i'd have been more envious but every time the VAR logo flashes across after a goal I feel like the dream is dead more and more.

Purposely broke the rules then cried about it, honestly wish they'd given them another 2 points for appealing.

Norwich vs Leeds 65mins gone and gotta say the quality has been dire. Lots of dives and players who can't control the ball.
-
Keogh the super villain, so many managers here and elsewhere made him captain as well. Must be some kind of conspiracy.
-
Interesting to hear him say he's flying over to Denmark and Netherlands to watch some players, think we need to be a bit more dynamic next season to get results. Genuinely intrigued to see what kinds of players he signs.

Leeds stay down and Forest come down, Ipswich done it the right way. Leicester cheated their way up already unfortunately.
Brum to go down, vile fanbase.

Bradley never gets his props does he, clean sheet and an assist yesterday. Absolute menace from any set piece.

Couple of side notes to add -
My 1 gripe with Evatt is that he is a bad loser and needs more grace when things don't work. I hate excuses and as I've learnt from reading other forums, every set of fans thinks they're hard done by by the referee every week and sometimes just accepting that we didn't take our chances is a better way to learn, move forward and grow.
The other side note is that I live in Stockport, have various friends who are rams around here and have a soft spot for you, especially as someone who went to Uni in Nottingham and developed a great dislike for Forest, mainly over their arrogance in referring to themselves as "the famous club"
The city ground is so famous they have to tell everyone how famous it is.

The people point scoring and ridiculing folks for having different opinions are no better than the strawman they are beating. There are legit concerns regarding the style of play and I guess a lot of unknowns regarding Warne having some money to spend. This idea that there are people that are unhappy that Warne succeeded is a pure fabrication.
Next season will be interesting because we won't be able to rely on the virtue of having better individuals 99% of the time like we have this season. Big test for Warne and i'm interested to see what type of players he signs. Like at every club there will be fans that will start to question things if we go on a bad run and looking terrible in games, that is totally normal. I questioned Warne when we had that bad run this season and it is not because I hate him. I actually think he's pretty sound.
Log off and enjoy the moment, if you don't have anything nice to say then don't bother.

Champ is a survival job for us, we wont spend big and there are many teams spending decent money there. The parachute payment clubs will be taking up the top 6 places as usual or near enough. See our season being similar to Plymouth's this season up there. Think the fans will be more lenient on Warne up there where the size of club and finance aren't given us an advantage. I've been disappointed in the performances a lot of the time this season but if he gets the job done then you can't deny Warne the chance to go again.

Terrence Crawford should be winning that fight comfortably, haven't been impressed by Madrimov he's been pretty basic.
Haney always been chinny, funny that Garcia pulled the drunken master on him but it'll catch up to him if he fights Tank again. Haney's dad is an absolute tool as well.

Assuming the club have sent a luxury hamper to Simmo's house, just to remind him how much we appreciated him when he played here of course.

Everybody moans on X don't they?
True but they have been saying he needs to go, shows that there is nothing unusual about our fanbase. You always get that wide spectrum of views.

I wonder how many Bolton fans will be calling for him to “do the decent thing and resign” if he fails to get them promoted as some on this forum have suggested Warne should do if we don’t go up? 😄
Their Twitter they all moan about him all the time and the players. Lot of them think he talks a load of BS.
-
There's always that section of our fanbase that write players off immediately and refuse to see the qualities when they do well. People on twitter were angry he came back in to the side on Sat, after 2 goals and MOTM they still refused to admit he was any good. His career suggests he has the character required to achieve promotions and success.

My main concerns stem from how poor we are at creating goals from open play against bargain basement line-ups, will teams be more open against us in the Champ? Not sure about that. It'll be a full on relegation fight if we don't really invest in the squad.
But tempting fate here, probably go to Cambridge now and not show up. Lose 1 nil.
Warne deserves his chance if he takes us there but I think Clowes should be ready to make a change if it becomes apparent we are miles off it.

It's fair to say Warne was never given the budget to compete in the Champ but it is concerning how poorly his style faired in previous attempts. Will we really back him much more outside of potentially wages due to revenue? One big signing so far keeps getting berated by the other players for not tracking backing and losing his head after missing a chance. Tempting fate here though making assumptions we'll get there.

How much are you willing to pay for someone better?
How much is Adams going to cost us? No one knows.

Adams, Gambian international. He's not an idiakez on the ball, far from it. However, he wins more ball back than Idi did. The lad's a ball winner and he then gives it to a ball player. On top of that, he's not exactly useless as his recent goal showed that he has good ball control.
Absolutely no one was thinking Idiakez was a defensive mid.

He was stupid to get sent off at Northampton but I can also understand his frustration having a defender on his back from every set piece and the ref ignoring it. He's played well at Luton in the Champ so I never doubted there was a player in there somewhere. Glad we had him back for set pieces because we've been absolutely woeful from open play in the final third lately, the Cambridge defence will be all over him from set pieces this Saturday.

Not being in a relegation fight will be a big achievement, we got out of L1 with a load of frees and whoever we could get under embargo. Find the the comparisons to Ipswich honestly baffling, think some people are in for a shock if they are expecting us to be at the top end. Big window for Warne, I imagine we'll be dipping in to the Prem loan market 2 or 3 times. Probably need 6 or 7 decent permanent signings.
