Bird MOTM for me, cleaned up the counter and set the attack off. Had a good game positioning been really good.

He's got no excuses with the squad he has in this league, i'd much prefer a young progressive manager. Should be scoring for fun with the quality on hand.

Atlas is senile, I find it hard to follow some of his chat sometimes because it just comes off as generalised rambling and he doesn't follow fights in the UK. This is the same guy that pulled a gun on Mike Tyson, he's always been a bit off in the head. His predictions are notoriuosly bad for years, people laugh about him on forums. Here's his last AJ pick:
If AJ is chinny then Fury must be the Amir Khan of heavyweights. The criticism isn't equal, saying if a huge heavyweight with power hits someone on the chin they could go down is like saying if I shoot you in the head with a gun you'll probably die.
Ngannou didn't even hit Fury on the chin, grazed top of his head like Wilder did and put him down.

I'm not even bothered about signing this guy anyway, just a clogger that was at Rovrum when we used to batter them in my mind. Remember Warne's side coming to PP and losing 6-1 with Smith on bench.

What does still rankle is that we've been told it's all about sustainability and a long term view, but then we've committed ourselves to a s*** or bust manager and play in his image, in a style that gives us little in the way of a solid foundation to build from and currently doesn't even look sustainable over the course of a full season let alone the next few years.
Remember when we had chat about aligning play style through the age groups then we could hire managers that match the philosophy? Seems like another life now.

Ipswich play a very high press and the midfielders are trusted to carry, they can win games different ways. That works at any level.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the conversation went something like that. LR might well have agreed thinking it will give him a chance, albeit brief one, to prove himself worthy. Only time will tell if it was the right decision or not, but it must have been difficult to look beyond someone with PW’s track record for getting promoted out of league 1.
It was a shame for LR but I don’t see it as being unfair. Sticking around for the disaster that was the previous season and making a decent start to the new one wouldn’t and shouldn’t have made him a shoe in for the job on a permanent basis.
I agree that, in an ideal world, he could have been longer as interim/caretaker but DC presumably decided that, for the stability of the club if nothing else, a swift decision was necessary and in an assessment LR v PW, LR was always going to struggle at that time.
Pointing to LR’s record at Hull may well prove that the wrong decision was made but that’s an easy conclusion to come to with the benefit of hindsight.
I've never not considered that. Loads of hindsight in football and it's never as straight forward as you think it is. Just my personal judgement at the time was to keep LR, he would prob have needed a bit of time to get fully going but then again Warne didn't exactly hit the ground running?
If we end up third season in L1 with Warne do we all agree it's a failure or do people still give him even more grace?

I don't recall Roymac and the other Warne in clan members getting all dizzy over Rosenior's win ratio. All this chat about Liam is point-scoring bolarks anyway.
Not even sure what your point is here, I wasn't impressed with Warne no. Wanted Rosenoir to stay on don't care what other people thought.
I never said Rosenoir was permanent manager but he was the manager, let go/told not required/sacked whatever it's semantics.

As you get older you can stay fit but you just dont get about the pitch like you once did, happened to me. You see it all the time in pro footy, usually around the agee of 33/34.
