I would respectfully disagree. LWB is the only position in which Sibley has looked competent. When he plays further forward he is unable to receive the ball under pressure. His first touch isn’t good enough and he gets outmuscled.
When he plays at LWB, he receives the ball under little pressure and has the majority of the pitch in front of him. He then has the time to pick a pass or develop momentum in a forward run.
Whether or not he can do that in the Championship remains to be seen but if he stays, I wish him all the best.

I wasn’t that man but I’ve groaned with the best of them during the season. I’ve never shouted anyone was rubbish though.
At times, it was a bit like watching your children in an awful school play, being generally supportive but not entertained 😊
Throughout it all, I appreciated that the team was always giving its all. Sometimes in games, nothing ‘clicks’
League One is a tough old division and teams battle hard. That’s why it’s such a relief to have escaped.

I think we should be congratulating Usyk who proved he is a great champion. 
Fury was hurting and did amazingly well to finish.

Sheehan hasn’t impressed, neither has Ogbeta. Oxford’s midfield has been dominant.

I hope we get players who excite. In past years we’ve had players like Ebosele, Lawrence and Dobbin who could ghost past defenders. Players who get you off your seat.
We have done amazingly well to get back to the Championship, but much of it was workmanlike by necessity.
I hope we end next season with a real blueprint for the future, and I hope we can bring through some players from the youth set-up.
 

I don’t think we can really comment on the retained list until we learn who the new signings are.
The Championship is a big step up and we have several players who are unproven at that level.
We should be prepared for the departure of a couple of heroes from this season but it might be for the good of both parties.

I understand there is a facility to add additional members to the squad during the summer.

The club to end next season having progressed both on and off the pitch.
It should be possible for the club in the future to be self-sustaining financially - the Academy should be the mechanism for this to start to take shape. At one time, it was envisaged that Moor Farm would become a football conveyor belt, supplying 1 or 2 first-teamers every year. If that can't be achieved, what is the point of having a top-level Academy?
