The clubs needs are currently a lot greater than keeping a failed player.
To be brutally honest, we’ve had their pants down if we’ve got more than a million for him - he’s been as much use as a chocolate tea pot for Derby. He’ll probably do very well in the US, where nobody is allowed to tackle anyone for fear of being sued.

I think the idea to send him to the sun, us to give him a good suntan to make him invisible on the grassless PP pitch

I came across and acquired this hallmarked gold & silver Derby County Player Medal in last few days from an Antique Emporium in Yorkshire.
Providence confirms it was made in 1886 in Birmingham. Derby County only played 2 games in 1886 against Aston Unity and Birmingham St Georges in the FA Cup and these medals were presented to the Derby County players in recognition of the match.
A very rare find indeed and I’m thrilled to have found it.
I thought I’d share it as a point of interest. ??

Festy reminds me so much of Antonio of West Ham, but before he changed to an out and out striker.
He’s also got a bit of Adama Traore about him too.
if he can emulate them, we’ll have some player on our hands - that’s if we can get him signed in an extended contract ??

David, that makes absolute sense and you have succinctly navigated rules perfectly - I hope you have forwarded this to the Administrators, who can instruct their Legal Team to take the necessary action against the EFL.
    Once again, thank you ?

That Cup game was a brilliant night 2 nil down so very early on and they gave Commons absolute dogs abuse - when he hit the winner we went absolutely mental and there was not a finer way for Commons to stick it to them - the place emptied in a few minutes - such vile fans !!

I think Sibley is pretty much where Bird was 2+ years ago and he needs to take on board the advice he’s been, work on it, buckle down and come up with the goods he’s been told to concentrate on. That’s exactly what Bird did and has come in loads and has become a nailed on starter.
Sibley needs to get his head down and work harder and prove to the manager and himself that he should be in the first team.
He’ll either buckle down and become the player we all think he can be, or he’ll move on and try elsewhere - it’s up to Sibley himself really ?

On Ashley... I think we could do a lot worse.
He's British, a Billionaire, has experience as a football club owner, has a good track record buying companies out of administration.
It means no mysterious behind the scenes money men, no owners from countries with dubious human rights records, no debt or leveraged buyout.
    It's a yes from me.
