PW mentioned risk again today - how he had encouraged White to take risks rather than obvious ball.

Nonsense. Everybody used to sit when the stadium opened, even the away fans. People need to start observing the rules before the law gets changed!

I actually thought they were one of the worst sides to come to Derby this year which I was very surprised about they’ve been on good away form and are a good side usually …. But if we’d of won 4-0 they couldn’t have complained 2/3 mistakes there defenders made first half we left un punished, we played well good way to bounce back.

I think barks was frustrated rather than angry. He has just missed a chance and on another day could have been walking off with a couple of goals under his belt.
I thought his first half performance was crucial in creating an enhanced level of tempo after Tuesday. He was excellent.

We're still a work in progress on the pitch. So many of the team were coached never to take a risk and always to turn backwards and keep the ball at all costs. When the players are under pressure they will likely revert to their core training.
But it seems in this case Warne was probably right in that Barks picked out Didzy with a late cross to score the winner. Only the lino wasn't having that, so wrongly ruled it out.
When competing at the top end of the table it becomes riskier to change things around too much. It would be good to see more of Springett, but right now that will probably only happen when in a winning position in matches. More likely will be White starting, but he looks more defensive than someone to replace McGoldrick. The best option to give Didzy a rest is surely to play Collins up top on his own, but have Sibley in attacking midfield.

My team would be something along the lines of:
                 Wildsmith
    Korey   Foz  Cash   Haydon
    Jase      Harvey       Conor
    Nate        Didzy         Barks
I'd like to see Dobbin and Sibbo getting a full 30 minutes against tired legs, whether we're winning the game or chasing it and maybe reward Rooney with some game time at RB given he's not let us down in his limited opportunities to date.
I'd like to see Harvey just behind the other two mids screening the back 4 but with a remit to push up when the opportunity arises and Didzy in the pocket between midfield and speedsters. Harvey needs to be brave and not plump for the easy option given his passing ability. I'd also like to see him taking charge of set pieces.
Lastly I like to see Jason and Conor pushing up as much as they dare. They need to adopt positions from which they can hurt the oppo and also to provide Didzy with passing options and support.
Expecting a better performance than last time out when we looked right off it. Even the ever dependable Wildsmith and Cashin looked rocky and we need those two on their A-game. Another poor performance and the doubts and doubters will be creeping in. Who'd be a manager, eh!
3-0 to the Mighty Rams, with NML to set us on our way.

I remember when, some years ago, some fans tried to set up a singing and standing section in the top NW corner, where few if any ST were sold, but it never took off.
Rather than trying to make the standing sections grow organically against the club's wishes and those of ST holders, why don't these insurgents get organised, speak to the club, and try to kick start a new initiative up there? As well as removing an annoyance to other fans, it would boost the atmosphere and appeal in the North Stand.

I really like the look of him. Very young but has a visible calmness with the ball and doesn’t showboat. Intelligent short passes. I also reckon we’ll see more of him taking free kicks, looks like he knows what he’s doing. I’d like him to start on Saturday

Time wasting and gamesmanship is part and parcel of the game, always has been. When a player goes down, the ref has no choice but to attend to a player who claims he is injured. He can't pick and choose when he thinks someone is feigning injury; all he can do is add the time on, which he did. Nine minutes added time was right.
That said, he was a weak official who increasingly lost control of proceedings, and if it is the case that the same linesman allowed two fairly obvious offside goals (haven't seen the video back) then he needs some kind of sanction.
Yet you can't blame the officials for our performance. In the first half Lincoln out ran us, out fought us and were more organised. Second half they did everything they could to secure something out of the game. It's horrible to watch and frustrating, but it is up to us to be able to beat teams like this if we want promotion, and we nearly did.
Disappointing night but we should look no further than our own poor performance, especially in the first half again. I was surprised to see two in midfield again after a poor performance at Wycombe where we were overrun  in that area, and it was clear against Lincoln we had nothing in the middle and were essentially just playing in the two outer thirds of the pitch, left and right, which made it pretty easy for the opposition to defend.
Much to think about ahead of Saturday.
