InstaRam reacted to Carl Sagan in Match Thread: vs Bolton Wanderers (H)
Well done to players, management and fans. Stood up and were counted on the biggest day of the season so far. Seven games to go, but there is clear blue water now.

Wildsmith deserves a lot of credit made some huge saves, everyone defended like warriors at the end too. I don't care how we win at this point lets get out of this league!

InstaRam reacted to Anag Ram in Bolton sellout.
If a group of blokes are in a pub, swearing and threatening passers by, it’s frightening and will lead someone to call the police.
Being in a football ground doesn’t affect that. It’s not a hiding place for criminals.

InstaRam reacted to angieram in Bolton sellout.
Blokes abusing the Bristol Rovers fans, chanting paedophile at them, picking on young kids, then crawling across the netting to get at them when WE scored our second.
They were 7 or 8 stood in about 5 places, meaning the people behind them had to move as they couldn't see a thing.
At no point were these blokes watching the game. They were facing the opposition fans. They were just there looking for trouble.
I'm sorry but I sing all game, didn't grumble when the spillover fans fell on to me, but personal abuse like that is just too much.

InstaRam reacted to YouRams in Paul Warne
Think we made the right decision sticking with Warne. It might not be pretty at times but this group of players look so together and run themselves into the ground for him. Let's all get together and behind the lads for the run in. 8 cup finals left.

Ref on our side for the first time in ages. Might Reading have some problems with the EFL or something?
Phew, that was hard to look at but we got there in the end. Big game coming up!

I would absolutely hate to lose a game like that.
Got to be honest, I don’t really like winning games like that either.
Leave that kind of thing to Patrick Bamford.
We can do better than that.

InstaRam reacted to maxjam in Stefano Eranio future coach?
Nah, it was approx 10yrs ago now, surely its time to forgive and forget!?
Anyway, I doubt DC would go down the 'celebrity' manager route unlike his predecessor and as has been highlighted, his lack of English would present a huge problem.
Regardless, I recall this from a few years ago. Sod manager, sign him up as a player 😛

InstaRam reacted to ilkleyram in Eíran Cashin
What I found most interesting - and worrying in a way - was his apparent powerlessness about the possible transfer: ‘you realise you have no control over it (the transfer)’; ‘it’s all above my head’
I probably changed jobs about 12 times in my career. On 3 occasions I was headhunted. Every time I moved it was because I decided it was right for me and my family, and when I had a family they were always involved in the decision. Cash always seems to me to be someone with his head screwed on and I would hate to think that the decision wasn’t his to make, that he didn’t have control over his future and his career, just as when he decided to extend his contract.
Perhaps football is just different; perhaps players still don’t have quite as much power as we think despite Bosman and agents. I don’t want him to leave but I do hope that if and when he does it is his choice and no one elses even if clubs and agents are part of the process.
