I heard a rumour.
The rams are going UP.

The immigration rules between UK and Eire are unaffected by Brexit, so I'm not sure that's the case.

Not sure what's more weird.
The almost celebratory wording of the post, or the gif that appears to intimate there is some sort of enjoyment to be had by the poster.
Hey, I'm all for chillin' out, having a laugh, and not "letting the football get me down", and I'm a big fan of inappropriate throw away one liners being thrown into the mix (of an existing thread), but to start a completely new thread to seemingly celebrate our poor start with such joyous gusto just doesn't make sense, given the surroundings.  
Like I say... weird... given the assumption that the poster is a Rams fan, on a Rams forum.

I have zero expectations for the next few years. I feel better about the current state of affairs  now that I acknowledge that.
 I’m a rams fan for the long haul, through thick and through thin.
Let the well paid professionals at the club get on with it . There’s zilch I can do about it.
I’ll celebrate the goals,  the wins and the good performances. I’ll not get down about the defeats, the poor performances or the ins and out of any players. I’ll enjoy the banter.
Life is too short to worry about things I can’t change or where I can’t make a difference.

I can remember the great bald Eagle having a terrible start to the season, I was at Tranmere away, Stimac debut, he scored we lost 5-1, I think we won 1, drew 1 and lost 3 of our first 5 games that season thats 4 points from 15 , fans screaming for Jimbo to do one, then come May we are promoted, we move to PP, and played some of the best football for years, lets all get behind our club, it's to early to panic, but after what Mel did to us, we must give our club time to recover, and we will. Once A Ram Always A Ram. 

Its almost like u want us to lose mate 

I don't know what path you want to go down but the right path is to not spend more than we are getting in and have to go through what we all have endured these last three years.

I do not want Billy Sharp at Derby. I suspect Billy Sharp doesn't really want to be at Derby either.
If Warne is out there saying he only wants top characters that genuinely want to be here then the move makes zero sense on that basis alone.

Hope I haven’t forgotten anyone. That’s a total of 84 which is 17 more than last season and without any new arrivals, which I don’t think will be the case.
I also expect us to concede less than last season.

Sonny Bradley will have all of them on toast as well.

There are some wristslashers on this forum…. It makes me sad.
We clearly have very good players at this level, and 1st, 2nd, 6th or 10th are settled on fine margins.  Collins is potentially a 20+ striker with the right rub.
I don’t doubt we’ll score plenty.
I don’t doubt that the average fan is thick as mince.  It bores me.
Have the common sense to see that we’re trying to recruit the players to win promotion and ideally the league.

There seems to be an assumption on the part of some posters that we need to replace all of Didzy's goal total for last season but this isn't necessarily the case. A tighter defence, particularly in the crunch games against other likely playoff opposition could mean we score fewer goals yet gain more points - let's not forget over a quarter of his league goals came in 2 games against teams which finished 22nd and 24th in the league, where there was a 9-0 aggregate scoreline.
I'm certainly not decrying his contribution last season - he was a class above every other member of our squad and produced much of the entertainment throughout the season - but I'm far from being convinced that we have to replace his 22 league goals for us to have a successful season and yes I'd still like to see us sign a young striker with pace to increase our attacking options.

And you think Warne and crew haven’t been trying like hell to address it ! It isn’t disappointing it’s a fact of life. What you really seem to mean is “why can’t I have what I want !” 
 

We're still under a business plan, so if it takes signing Waghorn to not end up where we were last January after Osula returned, then Waggy it is. I also think this is his level currently.

How can it be a no from you without knowing what the other options are? Good strikers are notoriously difficult to get, especially in league one with no real ability to pay a fee. Personally I'm just trusting Warne will choose the best options available to him, if it happens to be Waghorn then so be it. 

Given what we experienced as a club I don’t want to see any other fans going through it. What this does highlight once more are the failings of the governing bodies. How have the EFL allowed them to sign players before the HMRC payment was paid? Surely waiting a few days to be sure all scheduled payments were met THEN allowing the signings would have been sensible? 

And come to think of it the last Luton pensioner to come here didn’t do a bad job did he … No 33 what a rock. 
 
I know Saturday was fun and we took our chances, the bounce was with us but I am really looking forward to this season. There is something in the air. Is it because we are clean slate after all the turmoil or is it because I saw a team gelling in to a unit ? … or maybe it’s just blind wishful thinking ? 

Paul passed away early hours of Sunday morning.

Why criticise existing Derby players. Get behind them and the team.

You genuinely think he sat there and told a bare faced lie in an interview? I just can’t see that. This is what he said;
"Paul has been given a budget, I think a good budget for League One that is good enough to get us out of the league. But it's football and nothing is guaranteed."
Where is the lie? Paul Warne has been set a budget, one that Clowes thinks is a good budget good enough for promotion (that’s his opinion), it doesn’t say “we have x amount”, it doesn’t say “we will reinvest all funds raised from player sales”, it doesn’t even specify “transfer budget”….just that a budget has been set. People need to recognise their own interpretation and expectations don’t always equate to the facts.
