I was at the game and thought Osborne was decent.

I’d have given him a 7…..6 for his play (not many touches, 77% pass accuracy, compared to e.g. 90% for Ozoh) and 1 for his cajoling, organising and getting in the ref’s ear, which was excellent.

But you shouldn’t be called out and hounded for giving your opinion…..and belittled for possibly not being AT the match.

Starters

Josh Vickers - 8.5 great game from him even though he had 2 shaky moments in the first half but his shot stopping was amazing. 

Kane Wilson - 6 started well but wasn’t really on long enough to have a higher rating.

Curtis Nelson - 8 back to his best and looked as solid as ever against one of the best strikers in the league. 

Eiran Cashin - 6.5 thought he was great until his injury, it’s a shame because he looked like himself and would have been good for his confidence. 

Callum Elder - 8 best game in a Derby shirt. Has a good run last year and showed glimpses of what a good player he was but I think this was his first good full 90. 

David Ozoh - 7 some good moments but some sloppy passing. Has everything to be a great footballer, I think he’ll just get better and better the more he plays. 

Kenzo Goudmijn - 7 was tidy on the ball but he was marked out of most of the game. 

Ben Osborn - 8 was neat on the ball and worked like a Trojan all game. 

Nathaniel Mendez-Laing - 7 was positive and had some good moments. 

Kayden Jackson - 8 same as Mendez except obviously got the all important goal. 

James Collins - 6.5 worked amazingly hard but was very poor with the ball.

Sonny Bradley - 8 perfect game for Sonny when it was all about just hard work and defending the box. 

Ryan Nyambe - 8 also was amazing when he came on, a few of his tackles were world class, even though the ref gave one or two as a foul.

Agree nearly all of this. I'd up Collins to a 7, they were all over him the whole game and he got nothing from the ref but battled on. 

Kenzo either needs to be given space or muscle up a bit. Boro were very physical and had clearly identified him as a threat (rightly) and I thought he lost a few battles due to physicality. He's class tho'.

Ozoh 7.5 for me. His legs have a life of their own but every time he got the ball he tried to make something happen. They were scared of him. He could be gold. 

Jackson 8.5 Not only his goal, he was everywhere, constantly looking for the ball (a few runs that we didn't take the opportunity on) plus always tracking back

Collins does not deserve a 7 he lost the ball a ridiculous amount of times, only completed 4 passes from an attempted 14 in 76 minutes and literally ran the ball out of play on a couple of occasions. He also won 0 ground duels from 6, didn’t complete a long ball, a cross or a dribble all game. 
 

I love the man but he needs to be only used as a late on sub or a cup striker this season once we get a new striker and Yates is back.
