There's always that legendary bullet header from 20yards out, 12 minutes into added time.

I remember the details like it was yesterday...

Everytime he put on a Rams top, he gave it his all, will lead by example, so pleased he is a coach at our great club, Bucko will give the under 21s, the right attitude, and the importance of playing for DCFC, a great addition to our coaching/managet set up.

...and yet he is a Forest fan 🙈

Possibly.  Seems half our defenders support Forest, get here, then are almost possessed with the desire to be beat them like Barker and Johnson. Almost like the lights appeared through the gloom and they realise they've been hoodwinked for 25 years and need atonement for falling for it. You could see the tears in Pearce's eyes during that testimonial as he kissed his badge.  Alas, it was just too late for the poor bugger.  He'll have to live with his demons and cling to that one glorious memory.

I get that he’s a great bloke but do we know if he’s a great coach?

Roy McFarland - legend.

Jake Buxton - cult hero possibly

Craig Bryson - cult hero definitely...

Thats my view on this subject...

This is where it gets difficult.

Roy .. yes without doubt

Jake .. Cult hero, definitely

Bryso .. boarderline legend, that hat trick for some might be enough on its own ?

1. Chuck on a Ralph Loren polo shirt; dunt Botha giein’ it iron yeuth; nay point.

2. Chuck BLACK boots int placcy bag. Preferably Asda but Tesco orrate anorl.

3. Dunt Botha wi’ a Showa bag or owt’ - that’s for rate softies like Bamford.

4. yer done. That simpul yeuth.

We could judge him on his record with the U18s last season ...

Before JB
Wins: 0
Draws: 1
Losses: 4
PPG: 0.20
Goals scored: 2 (0.4 pg)
Goals conceded: 10 (2.0 pg)

With JB as manager
Wins: 8
Draws: 6
Losses: 5
PPG: 1.58
Goals scored: 46 (2.4 pg)
Goals conceded: 37 (1.9 pg)

Well that looks promising then. Thanks for taking the time on this.

It would be the last piece in the jigsaw of our recovery if we could get a youth system which truly feeds the first team again.
