Tommo having a hard time ..

We do seem light up front and their frontline is dangerous…

Its all about the game time etc - not the result - and even though they don’t have a full strength team out it’s still pretty useful..

Feel sorry for Thompson. Tidy footballer but no wing back. Far too easy to bypass.

We’ve played some nice stuff but have little upfront to aim at.

Great opportunity to test the team though.

Good test for us this. We got nothing up front but the defence & midfield aren’t getting any time on the ball.

Ridiculous that we're going into the first game of the season with Thommo starting there.

Although they won’t be a strong premier league side, and it’s not their strongest squad, you can see that extra bit of quality Sheff Utd do have. Good test this, and despite being 1 down we’re in the game.

Lovely build up play on the edge of the area sees NML curl a great shot towards goal from 20 yards ish, keeper at full stretch to push it away. He’s gonna be a good goal threat for us this year.

Thompson is really struggling, the sooner elder is back the better.

Way too short up front and all our passing is sideways or backwards.

No. Exactly my point. If it does then you could describe Wildsmith as error prone.

Over hit cross from Cashin almost drops into the top corner, Sheff keeper had to tip it out for a corner. We’ve been better the last 5/10 mins

And Cashin just won the ball fairly with a crunching tackle that leaves N’Diaye in a heap, bloody love Cashin. 😂

I thought he was good vs Stoke but a bit poor on the ball vs Chesterfield. My comment was naturally a bit hyperbolic but league one defenders playing with the ball too much is of some concern generally.

if he makes a couple over the season i stil wont

if its a recurring theme than fair enough
