Interesting that three U21s who are left-backs, or have played left-back, have gone out on loan in the last 7-10 days. The other two being Demico Burton and Will Grewal-Pollard.

Does "initially" suggest this move is going to be made permanent? Or do you think it might turn into a longer-term loan if everything goes well?

I suppose we already have Fozzy and Roberts at first team level, neither starting as we're playing wingers not full backs. Might that have something to do with these moves?

With these types of loans, they often still play for the U21s if they aren't getting enough game time. How long is "short term"? There's 2 weeks until the next U21 fixture, and only 1 more fixture in the following 2 weeks.

All the u21s have been sent out on a 2 week loan apart from those coming back from injury and illness. Evans, Clarke and a couple others staying to rehab whilst due to the break in games this will keep the remainder match fit..

Makes a lot of sense and should be a good experience for them

"Goalkeeper Alfie Roberts and defender Rhys Brailsford have linked up with Bardell FC, while the versatile Cian Kelly-Caprani, who can play in defence or midfield, has signed for Belper Town.

In addition, forwards George Nunn and Bartosz Cybulski have joined Mickleover Sports and Matlock Town respectively.

The five players have joined goalkeeper Harrison Foulkes and defenders Will Grewal-Pollard and Demico Burton out on loan after they linked up with Kettering Town, Belper Town and Stourbridge last week."

Was a good win and the lads who normally play 21s coming back into the team helped. Robinson was also due to play today before his injury. Blackburn next week at Home will be interesting …
