on current form surely you've got include us.

On current form Rotherham have won one gane in 5 and that win was a narrow 2-1 against Wednesday who are doomed on their current form. Okay we have not won in the last 5 games, but 3 were away, the Cardiff match was written off by Wayne and he got it wrong. Then the Coventry game back fired on Rooney. The Barnsley game on current form was our hardest test and I feel the Tykes were lucky to get a point.

Lets look at the bigger picture, Wycombe are doomed and so are Sheff Wed. Rotherham have only won 9 games and have lost 18, only bettered by Wycombe who have lost 22. And Rotherham have done that in less games than the rest of the division. So can you see them winning all their games in hand? They are facing a fixture melt down pulling the Covid-19 card and at some stage having to play all their games in a short space of time. I predict Wycombe and Sheff Wed are going to get relegated. the last slot will be between Rotherham and Birmingham. I will stick my neck out and say it will be Birmingham and thats based on their remaining fixtures. They have Reading, Watford, Swansea and Brentford in their next 4 ganes. Followed by Stoke, Rotherham, Forest, Rams, Cardiff and Blackburn.

Not sure too many Premiership clubs with their bloated squads would fancy playing 14 games in 8 weeks ???

That's the only positive I'm clinging on to tonight ?

They have fixtures on every available weekend and midweek, plus still one more to schedule. That is assuming their 2 games before the international break aren't also postponed.

With the likes of us and Brum picking up so few points though, they can probably write off a few games and target ones they think they can win.

None of that alters the fact that we have only picked up two points from the last five games and whilst it did include three away games, it did include defeat at home to a poor Millwall team, away against a poor Coventry team and only one goal scored. Rotherham’s defeats have included Cardiff, Norwich and Bournemouth.

However you cut it, we are without doubt, one of the poorer forms in the league right now.

Over 4 games now without troubling the scorers. Clutching at straws with yes we were unlucky against Barnsley when Shinnie hit the post Gregory missed an open goal yada yada it's delusional.

I admire people's optimism that we have nothing to worry about.

I also cba to go and trawl back through the predictions of us finishing 12th or above, might do for a giggle if I get really bored.

I dont think people on here realize how dire we are at the moment we have only scored 9 goals all season from open play and scored 1 goal in our last five games.

If Rotherham keep up there points gained record as it stands they have played 32 and got 32 points so they will end up with 46 points this would mean we would at least have to find 8 points from somewhere as there goal difference a quite a lot better than ours at present, this is assuming Rotherham do not have a slight upturn in form because if they do we are in serious poo

Looking at our final games i have us with a point each against Stoke,Blackburn,PNE and 3 points against Luton and Birmingham giving us 9 points with one game left to play against SW at home which could end up being the game that seals our fate

I have zero confidence in the team at present and even the points i think we should get is no given as i think most people thought we would get 3 points yesterday

I think people do to be honest and the most consistent die hard Rooney fanboys are starting to turn against him now.

I just said as a general comment the fickle fanboys are starting to turn against Rooney now.

But his calling out of Sibley hasn't done him a whole lot of good in the PR stakes either it appears.

I think Rooney is right.

That’s my opinion

I think you are doing us a disservice and the vast majority of us are acutely aware of how precarious our current position is.

The only consolation is that if you want to compare like with like, whilst you are correct, Rotherham are averaging one point per game for the season to date, we are averaging just over a point per game. We’re on dire run at the moment but Rotherham are not currently averaging a point per game and it could be tough for them having to cram games in.

Assuming no one, including us, have a surprise purple patch, I reckon it could well come down to a single point or goal difference as to whether we are relegated or not. It could well be squeaky bum time for our last two home games.

If we continue the form of the last 5 games we are in real trouble. Fans are hoping Brum will go down. However they still have their Ace to play which is a new manager. If we drop back into the bottom 3 we could ask Wassell again to step up.

The way things are going Wassell couldn't do any worse than Rooney.
