Doubtful as we sold him and Lowe for about £11m so the fee paid by Leeds is likely  less than we got consequently no sell on profit for us to benefit from

Not if they paid £10m for Lowe and £1m for Bogle. Just a thought.

There is a sell on, but it's a slice of profit sell on, so it'll be buttons.

It was widely reported at the time that we stacked the deal so that Lowe was the more expensive of the two players, so that we kept more of the fee (we screwed over Swindon who had a sell on clause for Bogle)

With Swindon presumably getting a 'buttons' sized slice of our buttons. Based on previous reports, we'll probably get £200-250k.

I saw that claimed at the time but thought it might just be someone speculating. Commercially astute but morally dubious. I hope we don't do that again anytime (seems unlikely under Clowes).
