Lowe’s defensive world is very under-rated. He wins the ball back so often

Isn't he sitting at the top of the league's tackle chart?

He's at the top of something like that I saw doing the rounds during lockdown.

Derby trying to play out from the back, Martin turns his back as Lowe tries to find him and Brentford grab it and shoot. A diving Rooney blocks it.

agree

Credit to Lawrence too who's worked brilliantly with him.

Love trying to get 3v2 on the flanks don't they, Brentford?

He has always been good 1 on 1, it's just that 10 yards behind him that is the issue. It's been the same at U18 and U23.

Evans has similar issues.

I seem to remember him being top of the stats for interceptions I think. Not sure who posted it though.

Brentford are allowing us to play a bit. Entertaining. Great to see knight back on the scoresheet.

knight and Sibley central with bogle playing high is a good shape.

good game.

He’s putting in a good shift today. Always chasing the ball on either end of the pitch.

I would give him less stick if he played like this every week. He's actually playing within himself today, which is better  when his play spirals in the other direction.

Going in to this game he was 9th overall for tackles, just 19 tackles behind 1st despite significantly less play time

3rd for tackles per 90 behind Sow and Stewart (min 10 games).
