Maybe that was because having seen how we played in that first half he didn't want to come on.

There’s a lot to criticise, but at least there’s a glimmer of hope we can continue to improve. As a team we’re by no means a lost cause. 

Agree, a deeply frustrating performance but his changes all gave us something 

thought flojo was a menace for them, Marriott lively and Cole was very calming and and used the ball well 

We need to look at it though don’t we that’s 3 away games on the spin where we’ve been incapable of retaining the ball.

i know nugent is passed it, we all know it, as does he probably but does one at top at this level really bring the best out of our attacking players 

it has to stick, the ball up there has to be good, the support needs to be up there, 

It’s just a lot hat can go wrong, and it only takes one piece of that jigsaw for it to go wrong before ur under the cosh 

the last 3 away games have suggested 1 up top isn’t quite working for us atm in time

First half cost us, Brighton were there for the taking. 

Been a poor few days, struggled to make 5 yard passes for most of the game! 

Roos 8 some good saves 

Malone 4 nightmare 

Keogh 8 means so much to him 

Tomori 6 did ok took too long on the ball should of laid it off to Bryson at the end 

Bogle 5 didn’t turn up for 65 minutes 

Bryson 5 couldn’t pass game went by him 

Huddlestone 5 too slow on the ball 

Wilson 5 not at his usual standards

Nugent 3 chasing shadows offers nothing anymore

Waghorn 5 prefer him through the middle 

Holmes 5

Subs 

Cole 7 very good when he came on

Marriott 6 needs match fitness 

Josefzoon 6 gave us much needed width 

really gutted we haven’t gone for it today! Didn’t want it for 70 minutes! Disappointing

Far too much sideways passing Keogh Tomori even with 1 minute to go.

Very disappointing overall, too little too late... I still don't think we are good enough to maintain a promotion push, we cannot cope against physical sides for starters. Hopefully Frank has targets for the summer who will rectify this.

Apart from his free kicks, I see little in Wilson to suggest he will be a first team player for Liverpool, maybe we could get him for another season. Cole, Marriott and josefzoon looked good coming on. 

Sadly Nugent and Bryson look too far off the place to be regulars in the side.

Bryson can’t play a forward pass, Nuge was isolated but if a player with more pace was up top they would have caused more problems, centre mid for me was where it was lost. Not bite or control in midfield.this is where mount is missed he can create and keep the ball. Glad brysons contract is up in the summer.

Roos, Keogh, Marriott and Cole were good. FloJo made an impact. Awful stuff for the majority of the game though, so disappointing as we've seen what we can do when we're on it. Brighton deserved the win. Team news on Wednesday should be interesting.

Roos was excellent.  Keogh solid. Cole composed class when he came on. Midfield is still a worry, lack of a link but we are definitely better with Huddlestone in there. Sadly Nugent has had his day. Didn't get great feed today but when he did there was nothing. He has been like that for sometime

Overall it wasn't good enough so Brighton deservedly through. Could see multiple times how frustrated Tomori and Keogh were in that second half that there was no space being found ahead of them and no movement. Cole's goal gave us something to chase and for Brighton to go backs-to-the-wall. The subs did well and Roos is in imperious form. A disappointing exit for me at the end of a disappointing week following the Ipswich result.
