v Brentford (H) Match Thread

Like I said pre match, Brentford are a team our attacking players can flourish against. Just got to keep the back door shut....

It really is impossible not to be utterly impressed by Mason Mount's technical ability. He just oozes class. Brentford had a plan from the start and that was to overcrowd him and give him no space, but he's still managed to wriggle free and have a really good first half an hour. Even moments like earlier in the game where he had a volley from about thirty yards out. It didn't particularly trouble Bentley in goal but the technique he possessed to hit it well and get it on target was immense. 

I really think anybody who knows what football is can recognise how good a player he is. The only person who probably would ignore his technical talent is somebody with a name similar to Barry Gowett.

For those there or watching on Rams TV  (I'm neither sadly) is this a 6-5 game or are we looking damn fine with every chance of a rare thrashing?

Anyone who moans at radio derby should listen back to this. Spot on comments pre-game from Ramage about the lady who died recently. Then some proper passion with great commentary. The 3rd goal was great and me son and I were going bonkers.

To be perfectly honest, we look fantastic. Brentford are good on the ball and look dangerous. They're a fantastic side so keeping a side like theirs quiet for an entire game is going to be very hard, but the goal they scored could've been scored by any side. They didn't completely rip us open, they didn't have time to do that in 55 seconds.

They had a decent spell again after the goal but since then we've controlled it. We look like we could grab a couple more before half-time, let's hope we carry it on.

The midfield 3 have been absolutely fantastic this game. Johnson's passing has been excellent, Bryson has won the ball back plenty of times and Mount is doing exactly as we expect of him, despite having 2 or 3 men trying to man mark him out the game
