If MM had decided not to subsidise these tickets, a family of 4 would be looking at £100 tickets, on top of travel etc for a midweek match, in a competition that teams don't take too seriously, and that is also on tv. Game could go to extra time, even penalties. Could be gone 10.30 before its done. Probably take ages to get out and home. Probably be 1am if they are lucky by time they are home. It's great that DCFC is the most important thing in your life, I'm sure it's very important to everyone on this forum, but most people have lots of other things that interfere with watching football matches, things like kids, mortgages, bills, wives, girlfriends, work, sleep, sex, cooking, cleaning, DIY, dog walking, not everything is so black and white.
