Jourdan Posted December 30, 2017 Share Posted December 30, 2017 I have to be honest and say that at the time I thought the signing of Winnall was uninspiring, unnecessary and entirely indulgent. But I have to hold my hands up and say he's proven himself to be a very useful impact player and contributed to the cause with some very important goals. All in all, a very shrewd signing by Rowett. Winnall may be frustrated with his lack of starts and lack of game time, but his case shows that everyone in this big squad of ours has a part to play. RadioactiveWaste Posted December 31, 2017 Share Posted December 31, 2017 I saw him v Brentford and didn't think much, but then the whole team didn't exactly play well with the ball after we'd gone one up. The next time is was at a match it was Milwall and after he came on for Nuge i thought he looked very good, hardworking, decent touch, dangerous.
