Sounds to me if we'd been able to get rid of Shackell or maybe Anya, Gary may of kept Craig around. Only guessing by what he said in the interview. He's been a great servant to the club, and the 13/14 season, seeing him in full flow was excellent. I think he along with Butterfield should have been sold rather than loaned out because come the end of the season we get two players back that don't want to be here, a year older and of less value on the transfer market. If Cardiff or Sheff W. get promoted they won't buy them as they will be looking to upgrade to better players using the new found wealth they'll have. If either have a good season with their new club or their replacements are no better, how many pages will be posted on here in the coming months.
