I hope not, on possession R.Ireland would have lost every single game in the group. Even Moldova had 57% in Dublin. Wales can't complain too much, for all their possession they only created one clear chance in the whole match. Although, had Bale been fit, it might have been a different story. Would also love it if Derby players showed a complete lack of respect for the city they were playing in and refused to have a Ram on their shirt. Not getting drawn into this now, no chance either of us would change our opinion. So, with that in mind, let's just say your analogy is perfectly appropriate. ViewsFromTheMiddle
Huge night for Argentina. A point would be enough in Ecuador if Peru lose at home to Colombia. Be a shame to have a World Cup with no Messi. Actually a point would be hopeless if Paraguay win.

Unless Chile lose to Brazil by at least two goals and Peru lose, or Chile lose to Brazil by at least two goals and Peru beat Colombia by at least two goals. Possibly, I think! Amazing that Argentina have got themselves into this mess, just scored one goal in the last four matches and that was an OG by Venezuela. On form, it looks like they are heading out, they almost never win half way up the Andes in Equador. Hopefully Messi can save them, like you say, it would be a absolute shame if he wasn't at the World Cup.

Never thought to look at the teams above them

MuespachRam
It would be great if Peru did get there and Argentina didn't...Argentina and the Sweaties both fail...we just need the Irish to bomb out and everything will be good

Haha brilliant. Is this the new depths England fans are sinking to so that they get a kick out of international football? Trolling 2 countries with possibly 0.01% of the resources available compared to England. Iceland would of been a better country to quote, not Saudi, however typing Iceland probably still gives you the fear....? Someone with your wealth of experience of travelling to football should really know better, but it's nice to know we are still relevant ?

Nethlands winning 2-0 after 40 mins need to win 7-0 to get into the play offs.
