They deserve it. They simply didn't turn up for most of their matches. 12 points in 10 games is simply not good enough for a team of their quality.

No, if you cant beat Trindad then you dont deserve it. Can't be great news for the development of the game over there.

Wow... that was embarrassing.  All we needed was a draw at Trinidad and Tobago to make it in and lost. :ermm:. We've gotta change how we develop players here. Pay to play traveling teams and college soccer clearly isn't working. This is going to be terrible for the growth of the game here too. Even non fans of the sport were taking notice of Pulisic, but now we'll have to wait 5 years for mainstream America to see him play.

Mourinho gaining plenty of plaudits for United's 0-0 draw at Liverpool.

Decent result for them, but a turgid performance.

I can't be the only one who thinks having just one shot on target, 39% possession and looking slow and static all over the park isn't some sort of tactical genius from Mourinho?

Surely nobody purposely sets the side up to play rubbish and get completely outplayed.

Liverpool on the other hand just can't get it right. They need a focal point, a Luis Suarez up top. So much creative talent but no killer goalscorer.

A great performance from United. Anyone who thought that they would go to Anfield and do anything else other than stink the place out is crazy.

There is nothing better than going away and playing for and getting a clean sheet...maybe sneaking a goal 5 minutes from time would be better actually.

Good old United.

They went to shut Liverpool out and get the point, but they didn't do it particularly well. Can tell they are lacking options in midfield as they were getting dominated there and didn't change it.

De Gea saved them, if Liverpool had scored first half then it could have been a very different game.
