We don't need another striker, our strikers are fine. It's the supply, our midfield and wingers are mid-relegation fodder.

Hang on...

Johnson got promoted with Norwich. Huddlestone was seen as one of Hull's best players in the Prem last season. George Thorne is widely regarded as one of the best midfielders we've had at this club in recent years, as is Bryson.

The midfield wasn't the issue today as much as the players in front of them, all 3 players beyond the midfield were woeful. Not exactly sure what you expect the midfield to do with such a distinct lack of quality playing in front of them in the final third.

Key note: They did. Both players have severly declined since.

I presume you're talking about Johnson and Huddlestone?

Huddlestone's only been here 2 games, give him a chance... jeez

Oh yes Huddlestone is still good enough for the championship but I was more referring to our other midfield options excluding Thorne and our wide options, who are nowhere near good enough currently.

How do you know who we have or haven't bid for?

Bidding is pointless if the club don't want to sell and the player doesn't want to come. Rowett can bid for Neymar if he wants but he isn't going to come. Perhaps it might have been worth working out which players were available. Fulham sold their two best players Dembele and McCormick, replaced them, played good football and had a good season. They had a plan. Derby don't appear to have a plan other than to keep fingers crossed that something positive will transpire by the end of August.

Are we talking about the same Fulham that were desperately still seeking forward players at the beginning of last season, and finally acquired Chris Martin on effectively an emergency loan right at the end of August. You do post some drivel.

I thought the wolves midfield utterly controlled the whole game with not even one tackle made on them, our forwards were not involved which I believe was down to our depth in the midfield
