This is why I think we need CM cover in the transfer window.

We only really have Bryson as cover for the three in possession.

Its a long old run-in.

Not sure I agree. Hanson can play anywhere, Anya could play on the right hand side at a push and then we have Bryson.

In the end we sold Hendrick but have had Johnson and Butterfield come in. Ok so GT is out so its kind of status quo but if we get further injuries that is what the under 23's are for and how they get their breaks in to the side. ? I don't want us spending money on too much cover. Insurance is necessary but need not be gold plated. I'd much rather see money spent on a player the next level up in one position or another.

I hope he makes it back, even for a few games.... a fully fit GT at the end of the season would make all the difference.

Elsnik is deffo up to the job too.

If we lose Bradders immediately we could be in the poo though.

I am embarrassed to admit I had almost forgotten about TImi Max .. From what we saw early doors, he has the ability to make the grade as per Max Lowe. I really would like players like him to be playing rather than over priced buy ins of middling ability

What's with all these vague news reports ? Thorne is on track says DET. What's that supposed to mean? Is that news? Specifics!

and then  mcclaren: it was worse than we first thought,  or something to that effect. He had a double leg break - how much worse can you get ? Specifics!

Drives me batty how some of this vague stuff passes for news. People are obviously asking so they are throwing us a vague bone, and the journalists just restate it rather than press for real info. If that was posted on here all hell would break loose and the poster would be ridiculed.

Big Thorne fans we are, we want to know the exact nature of the injury if it's worse, or the complications and some exact timelines of rehab training and return to game readiness. Is that so hard?

Yoda says, patient we must be! The galaxy he will rule soon beginning with the Championship!

He certainly does,I know it's bold to say but he could be as good as Hughesy with a better shot(he has got a cracking shot on him).Plenty of time for the lad but I totally agree with not buying middling tosh with such as TME in the wings.

Tme is like Butterfield but better, less dipsy doo and more direct with a sprinkle of Kris Commons in him.

I was thinking he would probably play the Butters role best.Butters does have a great shot on him too.

Do we have sprinkles for other players?

Can I use the Wanchope and Martin sprinkle on Vydra perhaps a shake of Dean Sturridge?

You'd end up with a wardrobe doing mazy runs on the wrong side of the M1 at 150 MPH. It could work though

Ince has a sprinkle of Martin (like at Burton where Ince started flapping and got yanked out the game by Pearson) or when he makes a run and don't get the pass he martin sprinkles, reference when mcclaren bangs on about inces "body language" being important; that's martin sprinkles. wenger also just made reference to Ozil in the same terms.

Johnson Fighting Vehicle has a sprinkle of Arturo Vidal. And Alex pearce has a sprinkle of Igor perhaps  lol. But yes tme really does remind me of commons

I have always had high hopes for Callum Guy, he scores goals and looks good, reminds me of hendrick.

I am surprised we haven't seen anything from him and will expect he will eventually leave.

If I'd had compare him to someone, it would be Thorne. Guy is clever player, which can't really said about Hendrick.

I agree that Hanson and Elsnik have talent but in a three there would be a lot of pressure on them.

Similarly, Anya could fill in in an emergency but we are looking to finish in a top six position and should have specialist midfielders who know their jobs both in defence and attack.

That's just my opinion of course and I would be delighted if one of our younger players developed as Max Lowe has done.
