JFETCN -  I'll take a last minute winner and a massive Paul Clement knee slide in front of the Trent end please.

I suggest that his suit cost a grand. So it would be a grand gesture.

Maclaren never really got past saying, top six, in the mix, playoffs, there or there abouts, wait till last ten games. When we hit top spot we did not believe we could stay there, it appeared. Leagues are not won in the last ten games, but won over 46 games.

Clement set a target of 13 points in five games which we achieved. Then he asked for at least 13 from 6 games and that all six were winnable. We have 13 from 5 so that is achieved. He is now saying that we can win any way game in this league. I certainly believe him, do you?

He is instilling a will to win and an expectation that we can beat anyone.By saying that we could win any away game, it is taken as read that he means that we could win any home game. He simply believes that we can win any game. You get my drift? The players are starting to believe this.

Igor Stimac asked after five games, "How are we going to lose six games?"  Foreign concept to Igor. Get my drift?

Rampage spot on. I feel that Clement is so much more professional and pays a lot greater attention to the finer details compared to McClaren. If we had had Clement last year we could maybe be in the premier league now or would have been in the Play offs at the very least.

The league really was for the taking last year. 5 points clear and with about 13 games left it all started to go wrong and McClaren just watched 8 months of hard work unravel. No loan signings and very little change in tactics. He was like a stunned rabbit in the car headlights. I am pretty sure that in these circumstances Clement would have taken much more decisive action. Like you I think Clement has instilled a belief that we are the best team in this league and like the old saying goes winning in any sport is about 90% psychological!

I totally agree, Whitlams1968. Clement exudes professional confidence and expertise. He is a winner. He has already made it abundantly clear that the size of your transfer fee does not give you a starting place. Weimann and Butterfield have it in full focus, that they have to produce. They are doing so. Clement is raising the bar of what is expected of the players on a week by week basis. If there is something that you need to improve on, then you will be sent for specialist coaching help until you can do it.. A new concept is emerging at Derby County; you have to be very good to get on the bench. If you get 15 minutes on the pitch, you are there to make a big impact.Take Baird and Shotton for instance, they are at an excellent Club with excellent facilities and they are on good wages. Life is good. There is a great team spirit at the training ground. They are being coached by an ex Real Madrid coach and if they get a chance to contribute then they have proved themselves. They are playing with very good players some of which commanded quite bid transfer fees.Would Baird and Shotton prefer to be somewhere else? I do not think so.I may also be completely wrong.

Hull away will show us how much progress that we have made. We do not need to win that game, a draw is ok. Bruce is an expert in this league. He knows exactly what he needs to do to get promoted, as does Dyche. We are playing them at their own game. If you want to play football, that is ok. If you want a physical battle, then no problem.

Ronaldo was telling us yesterday that he is the world's best player. Is he arrogant? No way. He is the world's best and hardest working footballer in my opinion. Is he worth £500,000 a week? £25 million a year? Absolutely, because he is cost effective even at that price. He makes Real Madrid money. Would Man City pay £600,000 a week to Ronaldo? Probably. Our head coach, Paul Clement was coaching Ronaldo last season. Clement said that he had nine derby games against Atletico Madrid one year.

Derby County Against Florest!. Am I bovvered? Do I look bovvered?

Always impressed how he talks about the game. Honest, intelligent, and right on the money with his thoughts and analysis. This Radio Derby interview from Tuesday is another one where he's saying all the right things.

"I believe our style is the right way to win matches. I hope the fans enjoy it. I know the players do" - Paul Clement
